Vijay to play lead role in Maharshi Tamil remake?

Kollywood actor Vijay is likely to play the lead in the Tamil remake of Vamsi Paidipally’ Telugu movie Maharshi starring Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hgede and Allari Naresh. Maharshi is gearing up for grand release on 9th May. It is one of the most awaited movie of this year. Mahesh Babu’ new getup and recently released songs, posters and trailer have already generated good buzz among the movie lovers. Now, here is an exciting update about Vamsi Paidipally’ directorial venture Maharshi. According to reports, the film might soon be remade in Tamil with an A-list star in the lead. The buzz is that Maharshi remake will feature Kollywood star Vijay in the lead, however, this is yet to be confirmed.

Thalapathy Vijay has previous acted in the Kollywood remake of movies like Pokkiri and Okkadu and now it is expected that once again Vijay will act in Tamil remake of Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi. It will be very interesting to see Vijay if he takes up the Maharshi remake as well.

Maharshi’ pre-release event will take place today on 1st May and many feel that it is going to be a grand affair. The movie is produced by Dil Raju, C. Ashwini Dutt and Prasad V. Potluri, under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies and PVP Cinema.

On the otherside, currently Vijay is busy in his upcoming movie Thalapathy 63, which is being directed by Atlee Kumar and Mahesh Babu is getting ready to join the sets of his next upcoming movie, which will be directed by Anil Ravipudi.

Avengers: Endgame Collections: Beats The Jungle Book in 4 days

Avengers: Endgame Collections: Avengers: Endgame, which was released on last Friday, is busy smashing records at the box office. After becoming the fastest film to enter the Rs 100-crore club in India, the movie is now eyeing Rs 200 cr mark. Avengers: Endgame starring Robert Downey Jr, Brie Larson, , Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson, among others. According to the traders report, Avengers: Endgame has surpassed the lifetime business of The Jungle Book (which collected Rs 188 crore), becoming the second highest Hollywood grosser in India. Avengers: Endgame has minted Rs 189.70 Cr in just 4 days.

Will Rebecca Breeds romance with Jr NTR in RRR?

Rebecca Breeds is an Australian actress, who made her Bollywood debut with Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in 2013. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is a sports drama film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and is based on the life of Milkha Singh, an Indian athlete who was a national champion runner and an Olympian.  Rebecca Breeds  essayed the role of Stella in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. It is known news that the hunt for the female lead for Jr NTR in SS Rajamouli’ RRR is on. One of the Jr NTR’ fans has requested Rajamouli and the makers of RRR to rope the Australian actress Rebecca Breeds to play the female lead.

During the press meet of RRR, Rajamouli made official announcement regarding its female leads and also confirmed the news that British actress Daisy Edgar Jones will romance with Jr NTR. A while back, she walked out from this project due to some undisclosed reasons. Later, Shraddha Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, and Nitya Menen’ names were doing the rounds to replace British beauty Daisy Edgar Jones. However, there is an any official announcement regarding it.

 On the other side, Rebecca Breeds  was cast as one of two leads in Ben Elton’s 2017 romantic comedy film Three Summers,  she was also cast in Partho Sen-Gupta’s 2018 feature film Slam.

‘iSmart Shankar’ Action Episode in Varanasi

The shooting ‘iSmart Shankar’ will resume in the holy city, Varanasi from tomorrow. Here, a high octane action episode will be canned.
This fight episode comes at a crucial juncture in the film and so the director Puri Jagannadh is going to shoot it on a large canvas. For this, the makers booked a whole flight for the entire cast and crew.
Real Satish master will choreograph this action episode in trademark Puri Jagannadh style.
Starring Ram Pothineni, Nidhhi Agerwal and Nabha Natesh in the lead roles, the film comes up with caption ‘Double Dimaark Hyderabad.’

The trailer of NGK starring Suriya, Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh has been out. The powerful dialogues, Suriya’ performance and BGM are highlighted. NGK Trailer promises a gritty political thriller. Allu Sirish is very excited after watching the trailer of Suriya’ NGK. When Vijay Deverakonda starrer Taxiwaala ( unfinished version) was leaked on the internet before the theatrical release, Suriya was one who came forward and extended his support. While Ram Charan has hurt his ankle while working out in gym, Jr NTR’ shoulder has been injured during the shoot. The lead actors were taking rest from the last couple of weeks and are now fully recovered from their injuries. They are getting ready to join the sets of their project. Amala Paul insulting comments on Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas | Tollywood Latest Gossips

It is known news that young actor Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas has been roped in an upcoming movie, which is remake of Tamil movie Ratsasan. The original version of Ratsasan, the psychological thriller film is directed by Ram Kumar and the film features Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul in the lead roles. Recently during the media interaction, actress Amala Paul made insulting comments on Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas.

Amala Paul said that the original Ratsasan cannot be recreated by any other actor. Vishnu Vishal did something remarkable and I am sure, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas can’t do justice. Amala Paul concluded it by saying that may be Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas can do Ratsasan remake in his own style, but he can’t match the original.

Earlier, Nithiin was said to be doing the film with Sudheer Varma directing the project but as Nithiin walked out from this project due to several reasons and the project fall into the hands of Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas. Ratsasan remake will be directed by Ramesh Varma who earlier helmed the movies like Veera and Ride. And it is bankrolled by Havish Lakshman Koneru under the banner of A Studios.

Ratsasan starring Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul, is all about child kidnapping and murder by a psycho, was directed by Ram Kumar of Mundasupatti fame.

Anupama Parameswaran is on the board to reprise the role of Amala Paul in Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas starrer Ratsasan remake.

Kartikeya to mingle with Naga Chaitanya

Maharshi song Paala Pitta review

‘Maharshi’ starring South superstar Mahesh Babu and actress Pooja Hegde in the lead roles is one of the much-anticipated films of the year, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on 9th May 2019.  The  teaser and the singles from Maharshi had received a massive response and now the makers of the Maharshi have released the fifth song ‘Paala Pitta’ from the upcoming movie. The song ‘Paala Pitta’ is already viral on social media. The folk song is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Paala Pitta’ is crooned by Rahul Sipligunj & MM Manasi and the lyrics are penned by Shree Mani.

It looks like the folk number ‘Paala Pitta’ has been shot in the backdrop of a marriage function or festival. Both the lead pair Mahesh Babu  and Pooja Hegde are dressed in colourful outfits. ‘Paala Pitta’ has a very massy, rural and rustic vibe to it.

‘Yevadu Thakkuva Kaadu’ Trailer unveiled by director Sukumar

 

‘Yevadu Thakkuva Kaadu’ stars Vikram Sahidev as the main lead. ‘A Story Of Brave Heart’ is its tag line. Presented by Lagadapati Sirisha and produced by Lagadapati Sridhar on Ramalakshmi Cine Creations, the film is directed by Raghu Jaya. Hari Gowra is the music director.

The film completed its Censor formalities recently. Plans are afoot to release the entertainer on May 11.

Prominent director Sukumar has unveiled the film’s Trailer.

Speaking on the occasion, Sukumar said, “The Trailer is really good. The film is the remake of the Tamil hit ‘Goli Soda’. I loved the original. As for the remake, I have watched some visuals. Vikram is so good. We have seen him as an artist in ‘Race Gurram‘, ‘Pataas’, ‘Rudrama Devi’, and ‘Naa Peru Surya‘. In the last of these movies, he ably shouldered the responsibility of playing a big role. He was just 15 back then. He is now 17 years old. He is yet to complete his Intermediate. He is growing film after film as an artist. Sridhar garu can make a big film with his son as the hero. He can launch him in a grand way. However, his aim is to see his son make a name for himself as an artist. I wish that Vikram scores a big hit with this movie and has a great future ahead. I have listened to one of the songs in the movie. It’s really good. The lyrics too were written by the music director, Hari; it’s good that such a thing has happened with this film. Srikanth is being introduced as an editor. Sridhar garu is always given to introducing new technicians. It takes a lot of guts to introduce new technicians. It needs a lot of self-belief besides one being knowledgeable. I wish Sridhar garu all the best.”

I am glad that he has loved the visuals. ‘Yevadu Thakkuva Kadu’ is a youthful love story. This is a teen love story with a new-age revenge drama element. Devi Sri Prasad disappointed super star Mahesh Babu fans with mediocre album for the actor’s prestigious 25th film Maharshi, though Padara song received overwhelming response from all quarters. They have now released a folk and mass number from the film.

Paala Pitta is a foot-tapping number that will appeal to masses. But, it is not so remarkable. The song has been shot in lavish sets in Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. Apparently, Pooja Hegde oozed some oomph in the song.

Rahul Sipligunj and MM Manasi crooned the number for which lyrics are penned by Shree Mani. As we reported earlier, pre-release event of Maharshi will be held on May 1st at People’s Plaza in Hyderabad. Entire team and few special guests will attend the event.

Mahesh Babu rejected Nani accepted

It is known news that currently Natural Star Nani is working with Vikram Kumar for a movie which has been titled as Gang Leader. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the script of Gang Leader was penned for Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu, not for Nani. It means Nani has accepted the script, which was rejected by Nani.

The sources say that the producer Ashwini Dutt planned a film with Superstar Mahesh Babu and the script of the film was penned by Vikram Kumar. But, the project didn’t take off as Mahesh Babu was not totally convinced with the script. When Vikram Kumar narrated the same script to Nani, he gave his nod.

Though Vikram Kumar has made few change to the same script he narrated to Mahesh Babu and impressed Nani, who is popular for his natural performance. Vikram Kumar’s directorial venture Gang Leader follows the story of an all-women gang led by Nani’ character. RX 100 fame Kartikeya is on the board to play the role of villain. Sathyaraj, Brahmaji and Ronit Kamra will be seen in supporting role in Nani starrer. The film has the music by Anirudh Ravichander and it is set to release in August this year.

Nani was last seen in sport based drama Jersey, which is just average at the box office. The film marks Shraddha Srinath’ debut in Tollywood.

SS Rajamouli is getting ready to start the shoot of his upcoming multistarrer RRR starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Tiger Jr NTR. Ram Gopal Varma in Police Custody

Recently Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV made official announcement regarding his upcoming directorial venture Lakshmi’s NTR ‘ release date in Andhra Pradesh. Vijay Deverakonda costar killed a woman

Telugu hero Sudhakar Komakula who acted as the second hero in Shekhar Kammula’s directorial venture ‘Life Is Beautiful’ starring Vijay Deverakonda, Shriya Saran, Anjala Zaveri and Amala Akkineni, has killed a woman when she was watering the plant. According to the latest update, Sudhakar was involved in an accident case when his car rammed into a woman who was watering plants on the roadside. The woman was dead at the spot and the accident left two others injured. The actor Sudhakar Komakula who was in the car has got injured.

This accident took place on Saturday at Chinakakani national highway in Mangalagiri mandal of Guntur district.

Sudhakar was on his way to Guntur from Hyderabad to attend a promotional event of his upcoming film Nuvvu Thopu Raa which is gearing up for the release on 3rd May.

The sources said, “Sudhakar was travelling when his driver lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a parked tractor and went over the median. Lakshmi, who was working on the median garden, was hit by the car and she died on the spot.

The Telugu actor Sudhakar sustained some injuries and he was rushed to a hospital nearby on the National Highway. The case has been registered and the investigation has been started.

Hero Injured In Road Accident, Woman Died

In a road accident on the national highway at Chinakakani village in Mangalagiri mandal, young hero Sudhakar got injured, while a woman died. Sudhakar, who made his acting debut with Sekhar Kammula’s 'Life Is Beautiful', will next be seen in an actioner Nuvvu Thopu Raa.

Sudhakar was on his way to Guntur from Hyderabad to attend a promotional event of his film Nuvvu Thopu Raa which is slate for release on May 3rd. The woman, who was watering saplings at that time, died on the spot.  Sudhakar sustained some injuries and was rushed to a hospital nearby on the National Highway.

Police have registered case and investigation is underway.
