Sye Raa directed by Surender Reddy will pay tributes to the unknown and unsung freedom fighter of India. Sye Raa is a biopic on freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy from Rayalaseema who fought the British and sent shivers down their spines long time back before the first war of Independence in 1857.
Mega Star Chiranjeevi is playing the lead role while the film has a star studded cast. Mega Power Star Ram Charan took the onus upon himself to release the film across the country in various languages, so that the people of the country know about the unsung freedom fighter and his valor.

Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy (Chiranjeevi):
Narasimha Reddy fought against the British ten years before the first war of Independence. British got so scared that after brutally torturing following his capture, hung his head to the fort to wreak fear among people, so that they do not think of raising voice against them. Chiranjeevi is playing the role and he enacted daredevilry stunts for the film.
Gosai Venkanna (Amitabh Bachchan):
Gosai Venkanna was the guru and mentor of Narasimha Reddy. He guided Narasimha Reddy, inspiring and motivating him to fight the British. Big B Amitabh readily played the role after he got an SMS from Chiranjeevi. This is Amitabh's second film in Telugu after Manam.
Avuku Raju (Sudeep):
Avuku Raju was a selfish and arrogant person. He opposed Narasimha Reddy and at the same time fought against the British. Sandalwood star Sudeep played the role of Avuku Raju.
Raja Pandi (Vijay Sethupathi):
Raja Pandi was a powerful warrior known for his valor. He was the backbone and lifeline of Narasimha Reddy's army. Vijay Sethupathi, Kollywood actor is starring in this powerful role.
Lakshmi (Tamannaah):
Lakshmi was a patriot to the core and sided with Narasimha Reddy till his last breath. Milky Beauty Tamannaah played the role.
Veera Reddy (Jagapathi Babu):
Veera Reddy was loyal to the core to the Royal family and the Kingdom. He was honest to the people and the country's integrity. Jagapathi Babu has played this role.
Siddhamma (Nayanthara):
Siddamma was the wife of Narasimha Reddy. She was known for her pure and selfless love. For her, Narasimha Reddy was her world. Nayanthara played the role.
Apart from it the film stars Anushka, Ravi Kishan, Niharika and others in important roles. Anushka is playing the role of Rani Lakshmi Bai in a cameo.
