Now no female voice from Raj Tarun!

According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the young actor Raj Tarun has opted out from Telugu film, which is a remake of Bollywood movie Dream Girl, which has him playing the role of a guy who speaks with a female voice.

It is known news that after delivering back to back commercially flop movies, Raj Tarun came up with another romantic drama Iddari Lokam Okkate directed by G R Krishna, who had earlier made Aadu Magadura Bujji, with Arjun Reddy fame Shalini Pandey as the heroine. The movie was arrived on 25th December and is turning out a disaster at the box office. Though Raj Tarun pinned all of his hopes on this heart touching love story, audiences didn’t connect to it.

Now according to the latest report, Raj Tarun is said to have opted out of Dream Girl remake, which was supposed to be produced by Suresh Babu.

Dear Girl is a romantic-comedy directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, which crossed the Rs 100 crore mark within two weeks of release. As the film has a universal storyline that appeals to all sections of the audience, filmmakers from regional languages were queuing before Ekta Kapoor for the remake rights. And later Suresh Babu purchased the Telugu remake rights of Dream Girl for an undisclosed amount, and Raj Tarun was on the board to play the lead role but finally, he has been out from this project. The movie Dream Girl features the protagonist as a cross-gender actor whose female voice impersonation begets attention from others.

On the other-side, Raj Tarun is currently acting in his next upcoming film Orey Bujjiga, which is being directed by Vijay Kumar Konda and bankrolled by KK Radha Mohan. Apart from this flick, Raj Tarun also has signed a movie that will be bankrolled by Annapurna Studios and with Dil Raju.

Chiranjeevi may confirm or nullify

It is known news that to date the maker of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo did not make any official announcement regarding the chief guest of ‘Musical Night’. According to the latest buzz, there will be no chief guest for this event. Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that the RRR team including SS Rajamouli, Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Tiger Jr NTR will attend the pre-release event of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Now reports are coming that Allu Arjun has said to his father Allu Aravind that either there should be Megastar Chiranjeevi as Chief Guest or there will be none.

On the other side, Megastar Chiranjeevi has agreed to attend the pre-release event of Mahesh Babu starrer and Sarileru Neekevvaru, which is going to be held on 5th January at LB Stadium.

Now we have to wait and see whether after attending the pre-release event of Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna’ Sarileru Neekevvaru a day earlier, will Chiranjeevi will be able to give time to Allu Arjun for the ‘Musical Night’ of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

If Chiranjeevi attends both the event- Pre-release event of Sarileru Neekevvaru and ‘Musical Night’ of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, his presence will nullify the friction to a bit. And if he attends only the event of Mahesh Babu’s film, mega fans may get hurt.

Both Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo teams are confident that their movies will strike a chord at the box office this Sankranti.

Rana Daggubati mythological court full of gold

Rana Daggubati’s portrayal of a deadly and cruel villain Bhallaladeva in SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, earned him a pan Indian appeal. After this film, Rana Daggubati has starred in a couple of Telugu films, which turned out to be massive hits of that year. With basking in the sunshine of success, Rana Daggubati went on to sign a couple of multilingual films such as ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ and ‘1940’, which are in different production stages. Now Rana Daggubati is getting ready to start the shoot of his mythological drama Hiranyakashipu, where he will essay the role of the demon king.

Hiranyakashipu is based on Hindu mythology where Lord Vishnu incarnates in Narasimha avatar to kill most notorious and deadly asura king Hiranyakashipu and save his son Prahalad from him. Incidentally, Hiranyakashipu’s son Prahalad is an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu. The upcoming film will be helmed and bankrolled by Gunasekhar. There is a strong buzz that the film will be made on a whopping budget of Rs 180 crore.

The sources say that Gunasekhar has already started the work for his upcoming mythological drama Hiranyakashipu and a palace set is being erected in Ramanaidu Studios with all the real jewellery and chandeliers. Gunasekar is spending Rs 15 Cr for Rana Daggubati’s palace. The mythological court of Hiranyakashipu (Rana Daggubati) will be full of gold and jewels, and Gunasekhar is spending a huge amount to make the court more lavish. The film is set to go on to the floors very soon.

It is being heard that nearly 17 VFX studios will be working for the graphical content in Rana Daggubati starrer Hiranyakashipu. By playing his first mythological character, Baahubli star Rana Daggubati seems to push the envelope for villainery much further than anyone else.

On the other side, Rana Daggubati is also part of Virata Parvam.

Natasimha Balakrishna tasted disasters in form of NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu. The films however had few thought provoking dialogues. Balakrishna in Kathanayakudu says ‘Janam Kosame cinema anukunnanu. Aa jananike addamaite cinema kooda vadulukuntanu’. In Mahanayakudu he says “Evadi dabbuto illu gadustundo vaade aa intiki yajamani., lancham teesukune vaadintiki entamandi yajamanulu untaro meere alochinchukondi”.

Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama bombed at the box office. But Ram Charan thrilled mega fans saying “Saraina Simham thagalanantha varaku prati vetagadu magade.ra”.

Venkatesh, Varun Tej’s F2 turned out to be sensation leaving all rolling down with laughter. Venkatesh’s dialogue ‘Antega Antega’ became popular with everyone.

Mammootty’s Yatra on YSR’s padayatra impressed all. The dialogue ‘Telusukovalani undi. Vinalani undi. Ee Kadapa daati prati gadapaki vellalani undi’ became popular.

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha attracted with their family romantic entertainer Majili. Chiatu’s dialogue “manam love letter meeda rasukunna ammaayi peru wedding card meeda undadu raa,” left all emotionally moved.

Sai Tej attracted with Chitralahari and one of his dialogue “swiggy lo pettina order laa intlo kurchunte gantalo ravadaniki.. success time padutundi,” impressed all.

Nani’s dialogue in Jersey, “Inta pedda prapanchamlo ee roju daaka nannu judge cheyandi naa koduku okkade. Vaadi drushtilo nenu konchem taggina tattukolenu,” highlighted father son’s bonding.

Mahesh Babu’s dialogue “success lo full stop lu undavu. Commas matrame untai,” in Maharshi inspired all. Sharwanand’s Ranarangam might have left without a trace but the dialogue “kopanni,daahanni inkokadu sasinche paristhitilo manam undakoodadu,” made a good impact.

Varun Tej’s dialogue “Anduke peddollu cheppindru.. naalugu bulletlu sampadiste, rendu kalchukovale, rendu dachukovale,” left masses thrilled. Samantha’s dialogue “Devudu malli vayasu icchadu.. aa vayasu malli rekkalu vippukontundi,” appealed to all. Ram’s ‘naato kirikiri ante pochamma gudi mungata pottel kattesinatte’ in iSmart Shankar drove masses crazy.

Vijay Devarakonda’s ‘vacchinappudu ento andanga unna prema, vellipoyaka enduku anta badhapedutundi’ in Dear Comrade pierced all hearts. Prabhas showed power with ‘gallilo six evadaina kodatadra.. stadiumlo kottevadike oka range untadi’ in Saaho.

Nani thrilled with ‘Nenu inka thriller genre lone unnanu. Psycho killer genre loki vellaka munde modalu petteddam’ in Gang Leader. Chranjeevi showed Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy power in Sye Raa saying ‘Renati Veerulaara. Charitralo manam undakapovachu. Kaani charitra ee roju manatone modalavvali.’

Balakrishna thrilled masses saying ‘onti meeda khaki uniform untene bonulo pettina simhamla untanu.. uniform teesana.. bayataki vachchina simhamlaa aganu. Ika veta’ in Ruler.

Worcation for Allu Arjun

Stylish Star Allu Arjun has already wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming much-awaited movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which is gearing up for grand release on 12th January 2020 on the eve of Sankranthi. According to the latest update, on Sunday night, Stylish Star Allu Arjun along with his wife Sneha Reddy and kids Ayaan and Arha flew to Bangkok. But Allu Arjun did not fly to Bangkok for the only vacation but also working purpose. This is called worcation for Allu Arjun.

Allu Arjun went to Bangkok for New Year celebrations. From when the news was broke out many wondered why Allu Arjun has chosen Bangkok, as it is a place that is beaten to death by Telugu celebrities. But the sources say that Allu Arjun not only went to Bangkok on a Vacation but also to check the shooting locations for his next film which will be helmed by Sukumar.

Sukumar took almost 2 years for writing the script of #AA20 for Allu Arjun starrer. The film team have zeroed in on lush green forests and also rough and edgy terrains to match with Chittoor forests. Buzz: Balayya and NTR to be seen together

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s Entha Manchivadavura is releasing on January 15th as Sankranthi special. The movie is carrying decent expectations and is only the medium budget film in the Sankranthi race. Dil Raju offers a movie for Maruthi

Ace producer Dil Raju had a comparatively good 2019 with scoring block busters with F2 and Maharshi. However, his latest film Iddari Lokam Okate has failed to grab the audiences. However, Dil Raju is setting up 2020 such that it will be his year through out.

Already he has a finished product in 96′ remake. The movie is awaiting release in the month of February. Now, Dil Raju is contemplating to rope in the latest sensation Maruthi for his next movie.

Maruthi has now again the most sought after director post the success of Prati roju Pandage. The movie has raked in 25 Crore share from its 10 days run and it is now evident that the film’s share will end up at 30 Crore mark which is the highest in Sai Tej’s career. But Maruthi has a record that after every hit film he scored a flop. That means he has alternate movies hit record. However Dil Raju has ignored that sentiment and offered Maruthi a hefty pay cheque.

The film is said to take place in the pre-independence era and is reportedly about freedom fighters. Distributors ready to chip huge amounts for RRR Rights but Rajamouli not ready

The two top stars of Telugu film Industry- Young Tiger Jr NTR and Mega Power Star Ram Charan are coming together with an upcoming film RRR, which is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of SS Rajamouli. Recently Rajamouli has also confirmed that he has wrapped up 80 percent of the shoot. RRR is the most highly anticipated film of 2020. Till date Rajamouli hasn’t released anything from his directorial venture RRR as it creates much hype about the film amongst the audiences. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, the distributors from various regions are ready to chip huge amounts to grab RRR rights but SS Rajamouli is not ready for it.

The sources say that despite some biggest offers being doled out, the business of RRR is not being done. Though distributors from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Bollywood are ready to pay the huge amount to acquire the rights of RRR, producer DVV Danayya and SS Rajamouli are not ready to close the deals of RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR.

According to the latest update, SS Rajamouli is working with producer DVV Danayya on a partnership basis, and Baahubali filmmaker SSRajamouli doesn’t want to close the business now because he is thinking that after the release of trailer, they can fetch more money rather selling it now. so the business of RRR is kept on hold.

RRR is a big budget drama and the entire nation’s eyes are on SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture. RRR is said to take place in the pre-independence era and is reportedly about freedom fighters. Alia Bhatt has been roped to play the female lead opposite Ram Charan and she will be seen as Sita. Brahmastra actress has already wrapped up the shoot of her part.

Ram Charan is essaying Alluri Seetharamaraju in RRR, which also has Ajay Devgn and Samuthirakani in supporting roles. MM Keeravani is rendering the tune.

Murugadoss says, No proposal to direct Jr NTR

AR Murugadoss is currently busy in the promotional activities of his upcoming much hyped movie Darbar in which Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth is playing the lead role and will make his screen presence in cop avatar. Until recently, there were several speculations that AR Murugadoss may team up with Young Tiger Jr NTR for his next project. But in a latest interview while promoting Darbar, AR Murugadoss has clarified that the reports of him helming a film with Jr NTR are not true.

AR Murugadoss added that there is no proposal to direct Jr NTR in the near future. He said he had narrated a story Jr NTR long time ago but the things did not materialize.

Murugadoss further said, “However, I haven’t met Jr NTR in the recent past. The ongoing speculations are not true, as I have not even planned my next film yet.”

There is no denying that Young Tiger Jr NTR is one of the most loved actors in the film industry. In the past two years, Jr NTR has been associated with ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ and ‘Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava’. Dil Raju not happy with rushes of Seenayya?

Rajamouli to repair Sivagami story?

We have already reported that SS Rajamouli’ historic and war drama “Baahubali:The Beginning” has got its prequel ‘Before the Beginning’. Last year in the month of October, Netflix announced a new original series based on blockbuster Baahubali franchise, called “Baahubali: Before the Beginning”. In a two season order, Baahubali: Before the Beginning, will be a prequel to Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. They also revealed that Baahubali: Before The Beginning- Season one will have 9 episodes and is based on Anand Neelakantan’s book, The Rise of Sivagami. It is jointly directed by Deva Katta of Prasthanam fame and Praveen Sattaru of Guntur Talkies and PSV Garuda Vega fame whereas bankrolled in association with Arka Media and Rajamouli. ‘The Rise Of Sivagami’ was supposed to release in the month November 2019. But there is now any announcement regarding the release of it neither from Netflix nor from Arka Media.

Baahubali: Before the Beginning Series will trace the journey of Sivagami from a rebellious and vengeful girl to a wise queen. Streaming giant, Netflix has partnered with Arka Media Works and Rajamouli for the series.

Apparently directors Deva Katta and Praveen Sattaru have shot 8 episode Season 1 of Sivagami. But it is being heard that Netflix and Arka Media folks are not happy with the final output of ‘The Rise Of Sivagami’.

As the output of ‘The Rise Of Sivagami’ turning out to be mediocre, Netflix is said to have taken a final call soon. Few are saying that SS Rajamouli himself will take the responsibility to repair this series ‘The Rise Of Sivagami’. It seems the TV series ‘The Rise Of Sivagami’ might not come even in 2020.

Boyapati Srinu begins budget cutting measures for Balakrishna film

According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu’ next film, which is tentatively titled NBK 106, was launched earlier this month has been put on hold. NBK 106 is the third collaboration between Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu after blockbuster movies Simha and Legend. Touted to be an action entertainer, the movie has been put on hold. The sources say that Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’ film allegedly got into a tiff with the producer over budget and remuneration. But now it is being heard that the movie is back on the track as Boyapati Srinu has decided to cut down the budget of Balakrishna starrer.

It is known news that Ruler is turning out disaster at the box office. So the producer of NBK 106 is not ready to spend huge amount for Balakrishna starrer. Ravinder Reddy is in no mood to spend huge on NBK 106. The film’s budget was reportedly a whopping Rs 70 Crore and but Boyapati Srinu has started budget cutting measures for Balakrishna film.

Boyapati Srinu is making some changes to the script and cut down the budget to make it a viable project. This year Balakrishna has delivered back to back commercially flop movies. He scored a hat trick disaster with Ruler after NTR Kathanayakudu, and NTR Mahanayakudu. All the three movies have brought heavy losses to the producers and distributors.

NTR Mahanayakudu earned just Rs 3.50 Cr share at the box-office and according to the traders report, Ruler, directed by KS Ravikumar, may not cross Rs 10 Cr mark. So producer Miriyala Ravinder Reddy doesn’t want to take a huge risk on Balakrishna’ project.

Boyapati Srinu’ previous offering was Vinaya Vidheya Rama which released earlier this year starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Kiara Advani. The action drama was bankrolled by DVV Danayya under his banner Danayya Entertainments.

Koratala Siva finalizes the look of Chiranjeevi

Megastar Chiranjeevi who was last seen in his dream project Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, has collaborated with Koratala Siva for an upcoming untitled flick. Now according to the latest update, Koratala Siva has just completed a look test of Chiranjeevi at Annapurna Studios. The sources say that Koratala Siva who was satisfied with Chiranjeevi’ avatar and has finally fixed his look for the first schedule. A photoshoot session of Chiranjeevi was done recently.

The sources close to the makers revealed that in the first schedule, Koratala Siva is planning to shoot the introduction scenes and a song on Chiranjeevi. Trisha Krishnan who is on the board to play the female lead role, will join the shoot later. Mani Sharma has already recorded three songs for Chiranjeevi starrer. It will mark Mani Sharma’ first collaboration with Koratala Siva. Previously it was reported that duo Ajay-Atul of Sairat fame was going to compose the music for this film but later the makers roped Mani Sharma to render the tune. This upcoming untitled film is Koratala Siva’ fifth project as a director.

Chiranjeevi’ film will have the cinematography by Tirru while Sreekar Prasad will take care of the editing. Suresh Selvarajan will handle the production design. It will be jointly bankrolled by Ram Charan under the banners of Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainments.

Venky Mama: Hats Off To Suresh Babu!

In the time when films are struggling to attain hit status, even after receiving good reception from critics, Venky Mama despite getting mixed reviews is doing wonders at box office. Many factors worked in favor of the film, but producer Suresh Babu’s perfect planning is the major reason for the film’s success.

Starring Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya in leads, Venky Mama was made on moderate budget. The film had made a pre-release theatrical business of Rs 36 crores. In less than two weeks time, Venky Mama has entered profit zone. The film so far has collected 37.40 Cr share.

Venky Mama was off to flying start and it had good run in its first week. The same momentum continued in second week as well, despite new releases. The Christmas holidays also helped the film to rake good numbers.

Suresh Babu locked perfect theaters for the film and he opted to vigorous promotions before and after the release. Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya’s combination also brought enough craze for the film.

There was lots of confusion over the release date and they didn’t get enough time for the promotions. Still, Suresh Babu with his master brain implemented all right strategies to garner the attention and then making Venky Mama a commercial hit.

With no noted film is releasing for couple more weeks, Venky Mama is expected to make good business until the new arrivals for Sankranthi.

It is already confirmed that Power Star Pawan Kalyan will be making his re entry into films with the super hit Bollywood flick Pink remake. The movie will be directed by Venu Sriram and produced by Dil Raju. Ss Thaman has been confirmed as the music director.

The film’s shooting will commence from mid January it seems. Already three leading ladies in the movie are selected. Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Ananya have been confirmed as the leading ladies. Pawan Kalyan will be seen as the lawyer. Already there are reports that Lawyer Saab has been reported as the title which eventually turned as false.

Now, coming to further updates about Pawan, after Pink remake there are reports that he will be playing the lead role in Krish’s next which will be bankrolled by AM Ratnam.
