Mahesh Babu clears air!

There is a strong buzz in the film industry that Superstar Mahesh Babu is teaming up with Parasuram for an upcoming project. Parasuram who has delivered double blockbuster Geetha Govindam, is also committed to make a movie for Naga Chaitanya. However, ever since the gossip on Parasuram and Mahesh Babu’ project was out, it was heard that the project of Parasuram and Naga Chaitanya has been shelved.

Finally Mahesh Babu came forward to clear the air and revealed that Parasuram go ahead with Naga Chaitanya’ film. Maharshi star also revealed that he would start the shoot of Parasuram’ directorial venture after the release of Naga Chaitanya’ film.

On the other hand, Mahesh Babu is getting ready to start the shoot of his next with Koratala Siva where he is playing the cameo. The movie Acharya has Megastar Chiranjeevi. Koratala Siva is planning to rope Pooja Hegde for Mahesh Babu.

In the meantime, the director Parasuram is busy with the Naga Chaitanya starrer which remains untitled as of now. It will be bankrolled by 14 Reels Plus. While Parasuram is busy with the preparatory work, Naga Chaitanya will be completing the Shekar Kammula directorial Love Story which is on the verge of completion. The expectations on this Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer Love Story have been high ever since its announcement.

Anushka Shetty in Ye Maaya Chesave Tamil sequel?

Gautam Vasudev Menon received lot of applause when he made Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, starring Simbu and Trisha in lead roles. The film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa turned out to be a blockbuster. Recently Gautam Vasudev interacted with media and spoke about his upcoming project. When he was asked whether he has any plans of directing Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa 2, and he said that he started the works the sequel for the original. The story of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa was simultaneously shot in Telugu as Ye Maaya Chesave, starring Naga Chaitanya and Samantha , however, with a different cast and climax. If this movie really goes on floors as planned, there might be a sequel to Ye Maaya Chesave too. Now it is being heard that Gautam Menon is willing to rope Anushka Shetty for Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa 2.

Now we have to wait and see whether Trisha Krishnan will be the part of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa 2 or not. Currently Anushka Shetty is waiting for the release of her upcoming film Nishabdham, directed by Hemant Madhukar which will be released on 2nd April. Madhavan has teamed up with Anushka Shetty after 13 years for this flick.

Anushka Shetty was last seen in Bhaagamathie. The actress had a brief appearance in the Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which was a hit.

Prabhas paycheck for Nag Ashwin film

Number of top directors such as Vamsi Paidipally, Surender Reddy and Sandeep Reddy Vanaga have narrated their script to Young Rebel Star Prabhas. But recently Prabhas made official announcement regarding his next project which will be helmed by Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame and will be bankrolled by Ashwini Dutt. Now the remuneration of Prabhas for Nag Ashwin’ film has been revealed.

The reports are coming that after cutting out the production costs, the producer Ashwini Dutt has decided to offer 60% of the profit as remuneration to Prabhas. If all goes well, then Prabhas will get nearly Rs 100-120 Cr as his paycheck.

It has also come out that the producer Aswini Dutt has decided to invest Rs 200 cr budget on Prabhas starrer science fiction drama, which has loads of fantasy as crucial element. The upcoming untitled project of Prabhas starrer is expected to go on the floor by the end of this year and it will be released in the second half of 2021.

On the otherside, Currently Saaho star Prabhas is busy in his upcoming romantic film O Dear which has Pooja Hegde in the female lead and is being helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar of Jil fame.

Koratala not considering Dil Raju bid

Koratala Siva, who is popular for delivering social message oriented film, is currently working with Megastar Chiranjeevi for an upcoming film Acharya. The pre release business of Acharya has been started. The reports are coming that Koratala Siva is handing the business of Acharya. Ram Charan is only funding the film and he is not involved in the business of Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya. According to the latest update, Koratala Siva is not considering the bid of noted producer and distributor Dil Raju and is selling the theatrical rights to the people who are very close to him.

The sources say that when Dil Raju tried to acquire the Acharya distribution rights for Nizam and Vizag area, Koratala Siva ignored him and helped his friend. The Nizam rights of Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya were sold to Lakshman whereas Uttarandhra distribution rights were grabbed by Sudhakar. Both are the close friends of Koratala Siva.

The makers have roped Sonu Sood in Chiranjeevi starrer film Acharya, the Bollywood actor will be playing one of the prime characters. Sonu Sood will also be seen in Tamil film, an action drama Thamilarasan, which is being helmed by Babu Yogeswaran. Superstar Mahesh Babu is also playing cameo in Acharya.

Nani locks yet another project?

Natural Star Nani is on films signing spree. He has already done a movie this year. Nani has played negative role in the movie V which is set for release in the month of March for Ugadi. Now Nani is busy shooting for Tuck Jagadish which is being directed by Shiva Nirwana of Majili and Ninnu Kori fame. Shooting of this film is going on at a brisk pace and as per the latest update movie is set for July 3rd release.

Nani’s third film of the year will be in the direction of Taxiwala fame Rahul Sankitryan. The film is titled Shyam Singha Roy which will have Bengali backdrop. Shooting of this movie will kick start in the month of June and the film will have December 25th release.

Now Nani has setup a project for next year. Vivek Athreya who was known with films like Mental Madhilo and Brochevarevarura has prepared a script for Nani and even impressed him. Mythri Movie Makers will bankroll the project. Vivek Athreya is currently working on the full script. Movie might get launched in the second half of 2019 and shooting might start towards end of the year. This movie might get released in the month of March next year.

Prabhas to become complete superhero

After a gap of two years, Nag Ashwin announced his next directorial venture in which Young Rebel Star Prabhas will play the lead role. And the untitled film of Prabhas will be produced by Aswini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies, who has completed 50 years in the industry. According to the latest update, the upcoming directorial venture of Nag Ashwin is a science fiction entertainer in which Prabhas will be seen playing a Superhero. According to a few, Prabhas starrer is based on the ‘time machine’ concept.

Science fiction, a rare genre in Indian movies, is a first for both Prabhas and Nag Ashwin. Nag Ashwin’s previous two films, ‘Yevade Subrahmanyam’ and ‘Mahanati’, were a drama and a biopic, respectively. Science fiction is definitely radically different from them.

Mahesh – Paidipally project not shelved?

Super Star Mahesh Babu scored a massive block buster this year with Sarileru Neekevvaru. The movie has become Mahesh’s highest grosser. After this movie Mahesh Babu has announced that he is going to work with Vamsi Paidipally again with whom he delivered super hit Maharshi. It is said that Mahesh is going to take three months break and after that he will start shooting for his next.

There are updates a month back that Mahesh – Paidipally movie has mafia backdrop. However there is a setback for this project as there are reports that it is shelved. However no one from the director side or hero side has condemned the rumors which made way for some more.

However according to the latest update it is learnt that the project is not shelved but very much on. Mahesh hasn’t liked the final narration given by Vamsi Paidipally. So Mahesh has given some more time to Vamsi Paidipally and asked him to come up with better version. Currently Vamsi is preparing the final draft.

Nayantara reduces her fee!

Lady Superstar Nayantara is one of the beautiful and talented actresses of the South Indian film Industry. She is also popular for women-centric movies.
