Big Condition for Samantha Akkineni?

Critically acclaimed director Vikram Kumar who is popular for delivering Ishtam, 13B, Ishq, Manam, 24, Hello and Gang Leader are planning to bring Akkineni couple- Samantha and Naga Chaitanya together on the screen.

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha acted together in four films so far. While Ye Maaya Chesave, Manam and Majili turned out to be super hits, but Autonagar Surya was the only flop in their combination. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, once again they are going to share the screen space for an upcoming film, which is tentatively titled Thank You. Going by the title, one can expect the upcoming film will have its theme based on gratitude.

The sources say that Manam fame director Vikram Kumar has put a condition before Naga Chaitanya that he will do this movie Thank you only if he agrees to convince Samantha Akkineni to play female lead in it. Now we have to wait and see whether Samantha Akkineni will accept this condition.

It is known news that currently Naga Chaitanya is working with Sekhar Kammula for an upcoming film, which has Premam girl Sai Pallavi in the female lead role. This is the first time Chaitu and Sai Pallavi are sharing the screen space.

Prabhas support to Sai Dharam Tej brother?

Vaishnav Tej, the young brother of Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej ad the nephew of Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Megastar Chiranjeevi is making his debut in Telugu film industry with an upcoming romantic movie Uppena, which has Kirthi Shetty in the female lead role. The entire shoot of Uppena has been wrapped up and the makers have also completed the post production wok.

It was supposed to hit the theaters on 1st April but the later the makers postponed the release of the movie due to coronavirus outbreak and lockdown. Nidhhi Agerwal, who was Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2014 finalist, made her debut with a Hindi movie Munna Michael in which he shared the screen space with action hero Tiger Shroff. She made her entry in Tollywood with Savyasachi starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya which ended up dud at the box office.

Nidhhi Agerwal talked about her childhood days and said, “I was very naughty in childhood. Whenever I used to get fewer marks, I used to copy my mom’s signature on my report card. As I wanted to escape from my mother’s scolding, I used to put my mother’ signature on the progress card. But when my mom came to know about my act, she gave me a strong warning.”

Not Suhashini, it’s Khushbu in Chiranjeevi film

It is known news that after wrapping up the shoot of Acharya, Megastar Chiranjeevi will start working for his upcoming Telugu film, the remake of Malayalam movie Lucifer, which will be helmed by Sujeeth of Saaho fame and bankrolled under the banner of Konidela Productions.

Recently during the media interaction, Chiranjeevi himself announced that young director Sujeeth would direct Lucifer remake. RRR team recceing in the fort of Devarakonda?

SS Rajamouli is planning to resume the shoot of his upcoming big budget entertainer RRR, in which Ram Charan and Jr NTR are playing the role of freedom fighters. The team of RRR was supposed to commence a major schedule in Pune in the month of May, but it was suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.

A source in the know informs tollywood.net that SS Rajamouli has changed his plans and decided to shoot these portions at one of the ancient forts of Nalgonda. The production team of RRR has gone on a recce to the forts of Devarakonda, Bhongir and Rachakonda and soon they will finalize the location.

The sources close to the makers of RRR revealed that SS Rajamouli is keen to shoot the remaining portions of this much hyped movie in and around Hyderabad. And he wants to complete a major schedule at an ancient fort, which stands as an epitome of royal elegance and architecture in Nalgonda, where he also has a farmhouse at Kattangoor village.

Alia Bhatt who is playing the female lead in SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture RRR, had been working hard with a tutor to get the nuances of Telugu language right even though someone else would have dubbed for her in Telugu. But now Kalank actress has to do a refresher course in it again before she starts shooting.

Chiranjeevi to solve property dispute between Dasari sons

After a prolonged illness, Dasari Narayana Rao passed away at a hospital in Hyderabad in 2017. After his death the fight erupted between Dasari’s two sons, Dasari Prabhu and Dasari Arun Kumar, and daughter Hemalaya Kumari over the property. Dasari’ elder son Prabhu had registered a complaint against his brother Arun Kumar in Jubilee Hills police station.

In the complaint, Prabhu alleged that Arun Kumar and his driver entered into their house on 24th night and assaulted him and his family members. Mega Power Star Ram Charan is all set to play a cameo in Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer upcoming film Acharya, which is being helmed by Koratala Siva. The movie Acharya, which is carrying the social message, has Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead role. Earlier it was heard that the makers of Acharya were planning to rope Bollywood beauty Alia Bhatt to play the love interest of Ram Charan.

Now the reports are coming that though Ram Charan asked for this special favor for the cameo, but Alia Bhatt is not doing the film Acharya. According to Alia Bhatt, neither she was approached nor she is doing Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva’ film.

Chiranjeevi will be seen as a government employee in the endowments department in Acharya which concentrates on administration and governance of all the public charitable institutions and endowments.

The cinematographer KU Mohanan’ daughter Malavika Mohanan, made her acting debut with the romantic drama Pattam Pole and she is waiting for the release of her upcoming much hyped Tamil movie Master. Daring and Dashing director Puri Jagannath is trying to set right his son’s career as a hero in Tollywood. Puri Jagannath’s son Akash Puri who had the experience of playing child artist in a couple of films has debuted as a hero with Mehabooba in the direction of his father. However, the project ended up as a disaster.

Puri is now re-launching his son with the film Romantic. This time he is not directing the film. However, he has provided story, screenplay, and dialogues for the project. Anil Paduri, his protege is helming Romantic. Puri along with Charmi is the producer of the movie. Romantic is slated for a Summer release. Due to COVID-19, makers couldn’t do so.

Bigg Boss 4 Telugu to be 50 days long

After the massive success of Season 3 of the Telugu version of Bigg Boss hosted by Akkineni Nagarjuna, the makers of the show have decided to come up with the next season. It is known news that season 1 of Bigg Boss Telugu show featured 14 original participants and two wild-card entrants. They were locked for 70 days in Bigg Boss house.

Rajamouli determines to carry on: RRR

The state governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have recently granted permission for the resumption of film and Television show shootings. The shoots should be done with limited staff by following all the recommended guidelines and precautions issued by the government from time to time. SS Rajamouli decided to have a 2 day trial shoot to take a final call on when to resume the actual shoot.

The shoot of RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR was planned earlier this week, but it was cancelled due to the unavailability of police permission and some of the team members’ reluctance to take any risk in view of the rising coronavirus positive cases.

Now it is being heard that Rajamouli is determined to carry on with the trial shoot early next week. Jr NTR, Ram Charan and other technicians are expected to take part in the trial shoot of RRR.

Set in the pre-independence era, RRR– Roudram Ranam Rudhiram showcases Jr NTR and Ram Charan as Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetha Ramaraju, respectively. The big budget movie RRR, which is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya, which was scheduled to release on 8th January, 2021, also features Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris and Samuthirakani in crucial roles.

A welcome change in RRR: Actor role increases in Rajamouli film

It is known news that Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan is playing a crucial role in upcoming much awaited multilingual movie RRR which has Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles. Ajay Devgn will be brought in the flashback episodes of the movie RRR with a thumping episode. Now the reports are coming that the role of Ajay Devgn in SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture RRR has been increased from a cameo to a key role. He has already shot 10 days for the film at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, where Delhi from the 1900s was recreated.

Once the shoot of RRR starts, Ajay Devgn and Alia are expected to join the team. RRR is the fictionalised retelling of the story of the freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, played by Rangasthalam fame Ram Charan and Aravinda Sametha fame Jr NTR respectively.

The sources say that around 25 per cent of the shoot of RRR still remains. With Ramoji Film City and other studios in Hyderabad opening up for shoots, SS Rajamouli is expected to resume work.

The film RRR, which is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya, which was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on 8th January 2021, will get a new release date.
