Lieutenant In Love With Telugu Stars

This Republic Day witnessed history of sorts when Telugu girl Lieutenant Bhavana Kasturi became the first woman officer to lead abn all men Army Contingent in the parage. Bhavana led the Army Services Corps contingent showcasing proudly the woman power of India. 

Similarly Major Khushboo Kanwar became the first to lead an all woman contigent of Assam Rifles and Captain Shikha Surbhi of Army Signals Corps stunned all by performing a standing salute on a moving motorbike. 

Bhavana speaking to scribes shared her love for Telugu heroes Victory Venkatesh, Mega Star Chiranjeevi and also cricketer Rahul Dravid. Bhavana who is a trained Kuchipudi dancer, classical singer and national-level basketball player raving about Chiranjeevi said, “Who can forget his film Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari. Chiranjeevi's dance in the movie was fantastic and Sridevi was so beautiful".

She says she likes Venkatesh and points out that even his daughter's name is Bhavana. She said she cannot be as calm as Rahul Dravid.

She said she loves Baahubali The Beginning, the only move she could watch due to her busy schedule. She said she loved Hot Hunk Rana's acting. Bhavana is married to Captain Dheeraj who was her childhood friend before they became life partners.

RRR Story: Jr NTR Ram Charan as friends in 40s and brothers in 2019

Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Tiger Jr NTR starrer RRR has become the talk of town. Currently the shoot is going on the outskirts of Hyderabad City and both the actors Ram Charan and jr NTR are participating in this second schedule. Right from the first announcement, the fans have always been intrigued by what the story line of this upcoming film RRR could be, since it handles two of the biggest stars from the industry.

 Earlier it was heard that RRR is a film that is set in the pre-independence era where India was in the hands of the British. While Young Tiger Jr NTR will be seen as a rugged bandit, Ram Charan’s role will be of an officer who works for the Englishmen. RRR will take place in two timelines, the one in the 1940s and the other part in 2019. Now few are saying that  Jr NTR and Ram Charan will be seen playing the role of friends in 40s and brothers in 2019. How will the realize this connection, and what happens next, form rest of the story of RRR.

RRR is said to be  Baahubali film maker SSRajamouli’s own interpretation of the independence episode, with a strong social angle and larger-than-life sequences as well.

It has also come out  that Rajamouli has already locked two top heroines to play  the female leads in Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer  RRR and will be making an official announcement very soon. The female leads will join the sets from next schedule.

RRR is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment. Rajamouli’s directorial venture  was launched on 11th November and the grand event was attended by megastar Chiranjeevi, veteran filmmaker K. Raghavendra, Baahubali stars Prabhas and Rana Daggubati among others. The movie is expected to hit the theaters in 2020.

Shocker: NTR Restaurant Demolished

GHMC officials gave a huge shock when they demolished a drive in restaurant owned by Nandamuri Taraka Ratna in Road No 12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Acting on a complaint, GHMC officials reached the venue and tried to remove it. 

But restaurant's manager and staff objected denying violation of rules. However GHMC officials acted tough citing that they are going according to the rules and norms. 

Knowing the tough stand, Nandamuri Taraka Ratna rushed to the spot and requested officials not to take tough action and sought more time. Tarak Ratna shifted the restaurant to another location. 

Inside talk is residents in the MLA Colony complained to GHMC saying that the restaurant has been disturbing using loud music and sounds in late hours despite repeated requests. Residents according to GHMC officials complained to the GHMC officials forcing them to act in a tough manner. Taraka Ratna is unavailable to respond on the entire controversy.

KGF To Set Prime On Fire

After setting worldwide box office on fire for more than a month days, KGF Chapter 1 is now ready set small screens on fire. The film will be streamed in digital streaming portal Amazon Prime Video from tomorrow in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam which is a delighting news for mass movie lovers.

From past few days, netizens have been requesting Prime Video India to stream the film at the earliest. Finally, they have announced to stream the film from February 5th. Like how the film shook the domestic and overseas market, it is sure to create records in digital streaming platform as well.

KGF starring Yash, Srinidhi Shetty is an industry hit in Kannada and it is one of the highest grossers in south cinema. Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF will have Chapter 2 which will start rolling from April. KGF Chapter 2 is likely to release in 2020.

Great Honor For Vijay Devarakonda

Last year, Tollywood’s most happening hero Vijay Devarakonda made his debut on the popular Forbes magazine. He with a revenue of Rs 14 cr shared 72nd place with mega power star Ram Charan. Vijay led that of Bollywood celebrities, cricketers and prominent people from other fields.

Now, Vijay got another great honor. The genex star got place in sixth edition of Forbes India 30 Under 30 list. Those who set new benchmarks in various fields are short-listed and Vijay Devarakonda is the only actor across the nation to get place in the list.

Forbes India calls Vijay Devarakonda as a rising star in Telugu cinema who consciously tries to remain sane for his own good. “He is simple, grounded and clear of the path that he wants to take.” 

They have only considered for selection those who were under the age of 30 as on December 31, 2018. Vijay Devarakonda is 29 now.

Meanwhile, Vijay Devarakonda who recently wrapped up Dear Comrade under Bharat Kamma’s direction is presently doing an untitled film directed by Kranthi Madhav.

Kalki Teaser Review: Angry Star Is Back

Fans used to refer Rajasekhar as Angry Young Man as he used to do arrogant roles in early stage of career. K Raghavendra Rao made Rajasekhar a family hero with his romantic and family entertainers. Recently Rajasekhar entertained with a high octane action entertainer Garuda Vega which won critical acclaims besides becoming a commercial hit.

Rajasekhar will next be coming up with a concept-based film Kalki which will be high on action. Kalki teaser has been released today on the occasion of Rajasekhar’s birthday. The Angry Young Man tag of Rajasekhar is now altered as Angry Star.

Kalki teaser will not reveal the film’s plot and it is taken from an action sequence. When a thug tries to attack him with a weapon, he just blocks him with umbrella. Seems like, director Prashanth Varma is going to emphasize Rajasekhar’s heroism to the fullest.

Cinematography is top-class and background score elevates the visuals.

Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi 2020 plan

Chiranjeevi who made his comeback  in the film industry with Kahidi No 150 after a long gap, is currently busy in his upcoming movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which is progressing at the brisk pace, in the direction of Surender Reddy and is bankrolled by Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Productions.  Till date, Ram Charan did not reveal the release date of Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa. Recently during the promotional interview of Vinaya Vidheya Rama, Ram Charan confirmed the news that Sye Raa would not clash with Prabhas starrer Saaho, which is arriving at the theaters on 15th August 2019 on the occasion of Independence day. The  latest reports suggest that Sye Raa is unlikely to get a release this year as well. According to the latest buzz, Sye Raa would hit screens in 2020.

Sye Raa is one of the most awaited movie of Telugu film industry and it is also the dream project of Chiranjeevi. The 62-year-old is playing freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy in the film.

 Sye Raa is about an armed rebellion against the British in 1846, more than a decade before the sepoy mutiny took place in Meerut. The film will see Nayantara, Vijay Sethupathi, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sudeep and Huma Qureshi in important roles. Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in an important role in the film.

 Nayantara is playing the role of Siddhamma whereas Tamannah Bhatia will be seen playing Lakshmi.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a biopic on  the legendary freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. The movie will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

 On the other side, apart from producing Sye Raa, Ram Charan is also busy in his upcoming movie RRR, which is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of Baahubali film maker S SRajamouli. Young Tiger Jr NTR is also playing the lead role. Currently the team is busy in the hunt of female lead.

 Ram  Charan was last seen in Vinaya Vidheya Rama, directed by Boyapati Srinu, is produced by DVV Dhanayya under his banner Danayya Entertainments.
