Maharshi Mania starts: Online bookings open

The much-awaited movie, Maharshi starring Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu , Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh, is all set to hit theatres on 9th May in a very grand manner. Finally Maharshi Mania has been started. The movie lovers and Mahesh Babu’ fans are eagerly waiting for the release of Maharshi. They have been waiting with bated breath for a long time for Mahesh Babu to grace the silver screen. Expectations are very high as Maharshi is a special project to the actor. This is the first time, Mahesh Babu is working with Vamsi Paidipally. According to the latest reports, online bookings for Maharshi has opened and the Tickets are available onBookMyShow. As of now, only tickets for one of the theatres in Hyderabad has been opened but they have opened to a good response from the movie lovers.

Meanwhile, the ‘Maharshi’ premiere shows will be held on 8th May in North America and other parts of the country. Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde starrer Maharshi is going to have a massive release in the USA. It is heard that more than 90 % of the shows are sold out for the opening day.

The traders are predicting that ‘Maharshi‘ premiere collections will cross a million dollar mark at USA box office.

Maharshi will complete the censor formalities on Saturday. The sources close to the film unit reveal that the film Maharshi has the run time of over 3 hours and 3 minutes. But the Mahesh Babu’ fans are not worried about the run time. Maharshi will hit the theaters on 9th May worldwide.

Maharshi is produced by C. Ashwini Dutt, Dil Raju, Prasad V. Potluri under Vyjayanthi Movies, Sri Venkateswara Creations, PVP Cinema banners whereas it has the music by Devi Sri Prasad.

Forgery Case filed on Aadi starrer Eedu Jodu producers

In 2017, Aadi Sai Kumar joined hands with Shraddha Srinath for a Telugu movie which is titled as Eedu Jodu. The film is directed by Vishwanath Arigela. During the launch event of Eedu Jodu, Cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas yadav clapped the first shot while producer Charan Tej’s parents Uppalapati Ramakrishna and Anuradha switched on the camera. Now according to the latest update, a forgery case has been filed on Eedu Jodu producers. The victim is Anuradha, a resident of Road No 9, Film Nagar, Hyderabad.

Anuradha launched the project Eedu Jodu starring Aadi Saikumar and Shraddha Srinath as lead actors under her banner Satya Narayana Productions.

At the same time, Gurram Vijayalakshmi joined as a coproducer and Anuradha made a contact with her and director Vishwanath Arigela. But on 30th March 2019, she was shocked when she came to know that Gurram Vijayalakshmi and Vishwanath launched a project Jodi on 30th March under Bhavana Creations banner.

According to Anuradha, Gurram Vijayalakshmi and Vishwanath changed the film name using forged signatures and documents. And she suffered over Rs 2 Crs. Anuradha has filed a complaint with Banjara Hills police station. The case has been registered against Gurram Vijayalakshmi and Vishwanath. The investigation has also been started

College students pelted stones on Darbar Crew

Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth and Nayantara starrer Darbar is progressing at the brisk pace in Mumbai in the direction of creative and talented film maker AR Murugadoss. According to the latest update, Few college students pelted stones on Darbar crew during the shoot.

The team of Dardar is taking precaution regarding the leakage of the pics from the shoot spot. Few days ago, the pics of Rajinikanth playing cricket on the sets were also leaked. Not only this, the pics of Lady superstar Nayantara from the sets of the film in Mumbai also went viral on social media. The crew of Darbar were shocked when they came to known about the leakage of the pics of Rajinikanth and Nayantara from the sets.

Currently the shoot of Darbar is going on in a college in Mumbai and it is heard that during the shoot, few students clicked the pics and recorded the videos of the shoot. It did not go well with the crew of Darbar. They stopped the students from getting near the sets, which raised the anger of College students and they pelted stones on Darbar’ Crew.

Reportedly, there were altercations between the Darbar’ crew members and College students. It is heard that AR Murugadoss is planning to change the location of shoot.

Darbar also stars Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar as the antagonist. Rajinikanth will be seen playing the role of a police officer in the film. The actor will be seen portraying the role of a cop after along gap of 25 years. He was last seen as a police officer in the 1992 film Pandian.

Rajinikanth starrer Darbar was earlier titled Thalaivar 167, it is being produced by Lyca Productions, which had also backed Rajinikanth, British beauty Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar starrer sci-fi drama 2.0, which was released in 2018.

Film On Legendary Maker Gets Rare Honor

Janardhan Maharshi's Vishwadarshanam, a film on Kalatapaswi K Vishnawanath won the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Award in special story category. Janardhan Maharshi who received the award in Dadasaheb International film festival in Delhi, speaking to scribes expressed his happiness.

‘This is the most memorable thing I have achieved in my life. Vishwadarshanam is based on the life story of K Vishwanath garu, receiving an award for this film gives me immense pleasure. The film will be screened in many national and international film festivals in the near future.”

The film which has a tagline 'Venditera Cheppina Bangaru Darsakuni Katha' was recently selected for the South Asian International Film Festival 2019 in documentary category-Panorama Section.
