Will Akhil, Pooja work it out ?

Akkineni Akhil has made his debut amidst a lot of hype with an action entertainer Akhil which was a chaos of script. The film left the audience with lots of confusions and it also burnt the hands of Nithiin, who produced the film. Akhil’s second movie Hello, which was in the direction of Vikram Kumar was touted to be a sure shit hit but it failed to grab the attention of movie lovers. It got settled as a below-average fare. Akhil has now turned towards Venky Atluri, whose debut flick is a massive hit. But sadly, Akhil has completed a hat-trick of flops. His third film Mr. Majnu, couldn’t impress the moviegoers.

Now, Akkineni Akhil is trying his luck with his fourth film. This time, he is not after hit directors but chosen one who himself has nothing to boast about in recent times. Bommarillu Bhaskar’s previous outings were all flops and he was out of the radar for a quite long time. Sensational beauty Pooja Hegde, who is currently ruling the roost has been selected as the female lead. This heroine has been the prime choice for any flick now. Currently, she has Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramulo, Prabhas’s Jaan, Akhil’s film in hands. Akhil is hoping she will bring him the required luck to score a hit.

Also, there is a talk that can Akhil – Pooja ooze correct chemistry between them. Yesterday, both Akhil and Pooja went together to Kakinada for a shopping mall opening and it is said that they both carried themselves very well and have shown great rapport between them. If the same is shared in scenes, then the duo can setup perfect chemistry which is very crucial for a romantic entertainer. Akhil is very low in confidence with hat-trick flops. So, this movie’s success is very important to him.

Surender Reddy on a mission to prove a point

When Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 151st periodic drama, Syeraa Narasimhareddy announced, many have wondered who the director might be to handle such a heavy project. When Surender Reddy has been chosen as the director, many felt surprised as the director has no experience in handling such a huge budgeted movie and also this genre will be very new to him. There is another point for their surprise. Surender Reddy has got a very unique track record. He has a hit-flop career. That means after scoring a hit, Surender definitely has scored a flop. As Dhruv was a hit, many thought that his next film will be a flop. But after Syeraa got released, many were in awe with Surender’s capabilities. The way he handled and brought out the emotions were really commendable.

Though Syeraa was a flop, it was for various reasons. Nobody has had any.complaints against Surender Reddy. He has got a very good name for the movie. Now after Syeraa, it is known that Surender Reddy has narrated a line to Rebel Star Prabhas. Being impressed with the line, the actor who is currently busy with his upcoming film Jaan has asked Surender Reddy to come up with a complete script. Surender Reddy, himself is a writer but mostly his films are written by someone else and Surender has also confined himself to screenplay and direction. But recently there are comments that Surender Reddy is more dependent on his writers.

He has taken those words seriously, He is now wanting to prove a point. That’s why he is going on with his own story. How Ever for the dialogues version he is going on with a renowned writer. If this project with Prabhas becomes hit, then Surender Reddy wants to continue as writer and director himself. But it will take some time for that to happen.

Vijay Deverakonda to involve in distribution of World Famous Lover

It looks like tough times are ahead for Rowdy hero, Vijay Deverakonda as his recent outing, Dear Comrade, which he believed a lot, has bombed big time at the box office. This movie’s result is showing its consequences in Vijay’s upcoming projects. It is known that Vijay has been playing the lead role in World Famous Lover, which is the story of a sincere lover, who is so matured and has so much clarity about love. Earlier, the film is scheduled for December release but as shooting hasn’t gone as planned, it is now shifted to February. This has become a bane for the film as producer cum distributor Chadavalada Srinivasa Rao has backed out of the project. He has bought the wholesome movie rights of World Famous Lover for around Rs. 25 Crore rupees. But has now backed out due to trust issues.

Vijay Deverakonda‘s last films Nota, Dear Comrade has been turned out to be flops. On the top, the movie will be released on the nonseason of February. World Famous Lover’s director Kranthi Madhav is on flops. His last outing Ungarala Rambabu is a big dud. That’s why Chadavalada has left the project which leaves producer KS Rama Rao in distress. He needs to sell the project to other distributors area wise.

So, Vijay has decided to help the producer. He will be a big part of promotions. He has already asked the help of his director friend Sandeep Vanga to cut an interesting trailer from the film. He has also decided to help the producer with business aspects as well.

World Famous Lover has Rashi Khanna, Catherine, Isabela, Aishwarya Rajesh playing the lead roles. World Famous Lover will release on the eve of Valentine’s day i.e., February 14th. Apart from this, Vijay has three other projects lined up.

Rakshit Shetty says Jr NTR energy is infectious

Rakshit Reddy, the ex-lover of Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna, is coming up with an action drama Athade Srimannarayana. The movie is going to be released in both Telugu States. Dil Raju has acquired the theatrical rights of Telugu version of Rakshit Shetty starrer and is going to release in Telugu States. Rakshit Shetty starrer Cop drama Avane Srimannarayana, is being dubbed and released in Telugu as Athade Srimannarayana. Recently the makers released the trailer of Telugu version, which received superb response by the Telugu movie lovers. On this occasion, Rakshit Shetty called Jr NTR his inspiration. Rakshit Shetty also revealed that Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava star Jr NTR’ energy is infectious.

About his movie Athade Srimannarayana, Rakshit Shetty said, “We had faced several challenges in these three years during the shoot. But we believe the content is universal and so we are planning to release it in major languages, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada.”

Rakshit Shetty showered praises for Jr NTR and said, “I hugely admire Jr NTR for the kind of energy he generates. Jai Lava Kusa star was also one of the motivating factors for me to get into the skin of the role. Jr NTR’ energy is infectious.”

Rakshit Shetty starrer action drama Athade Srimannarayana is directed by Sachin Ravi, a debut director. He is playing the role of a cop in this film, and will be seen romancing with Shanavi Srivatsva. The Soundtrack and music is composed by Charan Raj and B Ajaneesh Loknath, the cinematography is handled by Karm Chawla.

On the otherside, Young Tiger Jr NTR is currently working with Baahubali and Magadheera fame SS Rajamouli for an upcoming flick RRR, which also has Mega Power Star Ram Charan. It is a big budget drama, which will be released on 30th July 2020 worldwide in a very grand manner.

Kodava beauty turned down Naga Chaitanya film

Just within a span of three years, Kodava beauty Rashmika Mandanna has grown to one of the top actresses of South Indian film Industry. Why only South? In the part Rashmika and Parasuram have worked together for a movie Geetha Govindam, where she shared the screen space with the young and talented actor Vijay Deverakonda, and the movie was a blockbuster at the box office. Naga Chaitanya starrer is going to be bankrolled by Star producer Allu Aravind under the banner of Geetha Arts.

Apparently, Rashmika Mandanna is only looking to act in top star movies. Currently she is romancing with Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu in upcoming romantic and action drama Sarileru Neekevvaru, directed by Anil Ravipudi and is also sharing the screen space with Nithiin in Bheeshma. After wrapping up the shoot of Sarileru Neekevvaru, Rashmika Mandanna will join the sets of Allu Arjun and Sukumar’ film.

On the otherside, currently Naga Chaitanya is waiting for the arrival of multistarrer Venky Mama, directed by KS Ravindra alias Bobby.
