Third chance to Allu Arjun?

AR Murugadoss is one of the talented filmmakers of the Tamil film Industry and recently during an interview, he admitted that he has failed to impress the Telugu audiences. According to him, he has failed to satisfy Telugu audiences. Recently Akira director said, “When I did Spyder with Mahesh Babu, I’ve focused more on his Tamil launch but ignored Telugu market and the audiences. I have failed to catch the pulse of Telugu movie lovers here, the result went for a toss.” AR Murugadoss’ two straight Telugu films were Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer Stalin and Mahesh Babu starrer Spyder, which have gone for a toss at the box office. Now AR Murugadoss is planning to team up with his third Telugu hero, who is none other than Stylish Star Allu Arjun.

AR Murugadoss is in the hunt of a Telugu actor and it is heard that recently he has narrated a story to Stylish Star Allu Arjun with whom he wanted to make a bilingual movie for a long time. After listening to the narration, Allu Arjun said that he wanted some time for giving the final call. Now we have to wait and see whether Allu Arjun who has multiple projects in his kitty, will give his nod to AR Murugadoss or not for a bilingual drama.

If the rumors in the media are to be believed, the scripting is underway. The speculations say that this collaboration between AR Murugadoss and Allu Arjun is likely to happen in mid-2021. Allu Arjun will be the third Telugu hero after Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu with whom AR Murugadoss will work.

After delivering commercially flop movie Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India, Allu Arjun took a year gap and has signed three films, Trivikram Srinivas’ Ala Vaikuntapuramloo, AA 20 with Sukumar and Venu Sriram’ directorial venture Icon. Currently, he is busy with the promotional activities of Ala Vaikuntapuramloo, which is gearing up for grand release on the occasion of Sankranthi. Meanwhile, Murugadoss is waiting for the release of Darbar.

Priyamani: I can only say this for Venkatesh film

Venkatesh who is basking in the glory of his recent offering Venky Mama in which he was seen with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, is getting ready to start the shoot of his next film, which is a remake of Tamil drama Asuran in which Dhanush played the lead role. Suresh Productions has already confirmed via a statement that Venkatesh will star in Asuran remake. However, they’re yet to announce the rest of the cast and crew. Reliable sources have confirmed that Priyamani has been approached to play Venkatesh’s wife in the remake. The role was essayed by Manju Warrier in the original.

Dhanush and Manju Warrier starrer Asuran, based on popular Tamil novel Vekkai, turned out to be a blockbuster with over Rs 100 crore in the bank. Helmed by Vetrimaaran, Asuran is the blood-soaked revenge story of a father, a farmer who avenges the ruthless murder of his son. In this film, Dhanush made his screen presence in a dual role.

Srikant Addala, who is known for films like Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Brahmotsavam will be helming Venkatesh again in the Telugu remake. Reportedly, Shriya Saran was the initial choice for the female lead, but for some reason that didn’t work out and now the makers of Venkatesh starrer Asuran remake are approaching Priyamani.

Recently when Priyamani was asked about Asruan remake, to which the actress replied, “Nothing confirmed. Talks are on. As of now, I can only say this for Venkatesh starrer.”

If everything will go accordingly, Priyamani will be seen with Venkatesh in Asuran remake, which will be bankrolled by Suresh Babu and the original producer Kalaipuli S Thanu under the banner of Suresh Productions and V Creations, respectively. The rest of the cast and crew of Asuran remake are yet to be announced.

Priyamani is also acting in Virata Parvam 1992 which has Baahubali starer Rana Daggubati and Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi in the lead roles.

Mahesh Babu to excite them with his hosting

The pre release event of upcoming much hyped movie Sarileru Neekevvaru will be held on the 5th of January in LB Stadium, Hyderabad in a grand manner. According to the latest report, Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu has decided to host the pre release event of Anil Ravipudi’ directorial venture Sarileru Neekevvaru. Megastar Chiranjeevi has already given his nod and is going to attend the event as Chief guest.

The source close to the film unit of Sarileru Neekevvaru revealed that the pre release event will be hosted by Mahesh Babu himself and his hosting is going to be quite spectacular and a never before seen affair. Mahesh Babu has made extra plans to please Chiranjeevi and his fans with his hosting skills.

The director Anil Ravipudi and producer Anil Sunkara watched the film Sarileru Neekevvaru in a special screening recently and they are confident on the film. It is being heard that on the occasion of New Year, Mahesh Babu is hosting a lavish party for the team of Sarileru Neekevvaru in his residence today evening.

Mahesh Babu has already completed the dubbing for his character. The post-production work of Sarileru Neekevvaru is currently in final stages. It is being bankrolled by AK Entertainments, GMB Entertainment and Sri Venkateswara Creations whereas it has the music by Devi Sri Prasad. Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead. The movie Sarileru Neekevvaru is gearing up for grand release on 11th January 2020 on the occasion of Sankranthi.

Recently during the media interaction, Anil Sunkara said, “Sarileru Neekevvaru is a perfect film for the festive season! We shot this movie in 140 working days, and it will surely meet the expectations of fans and audience.” According to him, the performance of Mahesh Babu will be the highlight of the movie Sarileru Neekevvaru. The movie is about a soldier’s journey, and the film pays tribute to the soldier’s parents too.

Hit First Glimpse: Revert

Natural Star Nani who made his debut as producer with a critically acclaimed film Awe is coming up with his second production titled Hit that features Falaknuma Das fame Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in the leads. The film’s first glimpse is out today on New Year eve.

Going by the first glimpse video, the film Hit is going to be an edge of the seat thriller. The protagonist who lost someone he loved the most in an incident is in similar situation now. How he deals with it now forms crux of the story.

Vishwak Sen is seen as an aggressive police officer and he played the role with ease. The teaser is completely centered on this character and we won’t notice any other characters. Cinematography by Mani Kandan sets the thrill mood, while music by Vivek Sagar amplifies the intensity in scenes.

Overall, Hit first glimpse is revert back with technical brilliance from the core team. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, Hit will have its easer to be unveiled soon while the film will hit the screens on February 28th.

Now no female voice from Raj Tarun!

According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the young actor Raj Tarun has opted out from Telugu film, which is a remake of Bollywood movie Dream Girl, which has him playing the role of a guy who speaks with a female voice.

It is known news that after delivering back to back commercially flop movies, Raj Tarun came up with another romantic drama Iddari Lokam Okkate directed by G R Krishna, who had earlier made Aadu Magadura Bujji, with Arjun Reddy fame Shalini Pandey as the heroine. The movie was arrived on 25th December and is turning out a disaster at the box office. Though Raj Tarun pinned all of his hopes on this heart touching love story, audiences didn’t connect to it.

Now according to the latest report, Raj Tarun is said to have opted out of Dream Girl remake, which was supposed to be produced by Suresh Babu.

Dear Girl is a romantic-comedy directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, which crossed the Rs 100 crore mark within two weeks of release. As the film has a universal storyline that appeals to all sections of the audience, filmmakers from regional languages were queuing before Ekta Kapoor for the remake rights. And later Suresh Babu purchased the Telugu remake rights of Dream Girl for an undisclosed amount, and Raj Tarun was on the board to play the lead role but finally, he has been out from this project. The movie Dream Girl features the protagonist as a cross-gender actor whose female voice impersonation begets attention from others.

On the other-side, Raj Tarun is currently acting in his next upcoming film Orey Bujjiga, which is being directed by Vijay Kumar Konda and bankrolled by KK Radha Mohan. Apart from this flick, Raj Tarun also has signed a movie that will be bankrolled by Annapurna Studios and with Dil Raju.
