Big Breaking: Rajasekhar Resigns As Maa VP

The Movie Artists Association (Maa) held an event to launch the New Year Diary edition. The event was chaired over by Megastar Chiranjeevi, Mohan Babu, Krishnam Raju and other members of the association. The event, which was supposed to be all about Maa's accomplishments and future welfare schemes, took a different turn when Rajasekhar addressed the gathering.

During the event, Rajasekhar snatched the mike from senior writer Parachuri Gopala Krishna and went on a rant about how he lost his films and his luxury car because of the association. He also spoke about his rift with Maa President Naresh.

After Rajasekhar left the stage, Chiranjeevi took over the mike and condemned his speech. He also opined that a strong disciplinary action should be taken against Rajasekhar.

Freshly, Rajasekhar announced to resign from executive vice president post.

“Though Mr Naresh, the president of MAA has been continuously degrading and insulting the committee members in many ways, I tried my best to stay in the association. Even, today in the diary launch event, he himself explained that what was proposed to happen in the vent was never discussed in an EC meeting but was only sent as a WhatsApp message to Mrs. Jeevitha.

I’m a very sensitive, emotional and straight forward person, whether you like it or not… Keeping all this in view, I decided to resign from my post,” reads the letter.

Janhvi Kapoor no dates for Vijay Deverakonda?

According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Bollywood beauty Janhvi Kapoor has once again rejected Vijay Deverakonda starrer upcoming film Fighter, which is going to be helmed by none other than Puri Jagannadh who has delivered several hit movies such as Temper and iSmart Shankar. The regular shoot of Fighter is expected to commence from this month.

Recently it was heard that Karan Johar has convinced Janhvi Kapoor and she has agreed to come on the board to play the female lead in Vijay Deverakonda starrer Fighter. But now the latest gossip is going on that Janhvi Kapoor has decided to make her exit from the film Fighter starring Vijay Deverakonda as she has no dates and is busy with multiple films. Though the news of Janhvi Kapoor’s exit is not yet confirmed it has caught on all over.

The pre-production work of Fighter is going on at the brisk pace. And Puri Jagannadh has started the hunt for an actress to play the female lead.

Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh’s film is based on boxing backdrop. It has also come out that Hippi and RX 100 fame Kartikeya will play the main villain in this film.

Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur are planning to utilize Vijay Deverakonda’ craze all over the nation for Fighter. Vijay Deverakonda starrer Fighter is a pan-Indian project and it will be released in multiple languages.

On the other side, Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam fame Vijay Devarakonda is currently working with Kranthi Madhav for the upcoming romantic drama World Famous Lover. It is a romantic tale that is based on some real-life incidents.

It’s just for the sake of Ramya Krishna

Puri Jagannadh has been a mainstream director for over sixteen years, but he truly hit his stride in the early days of his career. He has been considered to be one of the greatest film directors to date. Puri Jagannadh’s previous offering Ismart Shankar starring Ram Pothineni, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Nabha Natesh was blockbuster at the box office. Currently, he is busy in his upcoming production venture Romantic in which his son Akash Puri is playing the lead role. We have already reported that Ramya Krishna who has won millions of heart with her wonderful performance in SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus Baahubali, is on the board to play the crucial role in Puri Jagannadh’ film. Ramya Krishna will be seen playing the role of Akash Puri’ mother in Romantic.

Initially, the Bollywood bombshell Mandira Bedi was on the board to reprise the role of Akash Puri’s mother. Everyone is aware of that Mandira Bedi is popular for her bikini treat. But in Romantic, there is no use of her glamour as she was roped to essay the role of mother. Director Anil Paduri has carved all the scenes with Mandira Bedi and wrapped the entire shoot but after watching the rushes in the editing room, Puri Jagannadh felt that Mandira Bedi is not fit for the role as she does not know Telugu. She is unable to understand Telugu and emote accordingly. So Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur decided to rope Ramya Krishna in this film Romantic starring Akash Puri. Recently they reshoot the whole episode with Ramya Krishna and it is heard that all the scenes have come out very well. This is the first time as a producer, Puri Jagannadh reshot the whole thing just for the sake of an actor Ramya Krishna.

Ketika Sharma is playing the love interest of Akash Puri in Romantic. Akash Puri made his debut in films a child artist and his movies in child roles are Gabbar Singh, Bujjigadu and Chirutha.

Vijayashanti needs to slap Mahesh Babu?

Lady Superstar and politician Vijayashanti is making her comeback in the Telugu film industry once again with Mahesh Babu starrer upcoming film ‘Sarileru Neekevaaru’, which is gearing up for grand release on 11th January 2020 on the occasion of Sankranthi. Recently during a media interaction, Vijayashanti showered praises for Mahesh Babu and recalled an incident while shooting with Mahesh Babu in 1988 in which she needs to slap him but unable to do that as he was so cute.

Vijayashanti said that cute small boy now become a superstar, Mahesh Babu. Vijayashanti added that Mahesh Babu is a very cool and down to earth person and treat everyone with huge respect.

Vijayashanti and Superstar Krishna worked together for Koduku Diddina Kapuram in 1988. During the shoot, Vijayashanti had to slap Mahesh Babu who was just 13 years old. Krishna asked Vijayashanti to slap Mahesh Babu Babu as per the requirement of the scene but she was unable to do it.

Now once again Vijayashanti is working with Mahesh Babu for the much-hyped film ‘Sarileru Neekevaaru’, which is being helmed by Anil Ravipudi. She is essaying the role of a professor whereas Mahesh Babu will be seen in the role of Major Ajay Krishna. Interestingly, the film marks her comeback as she returns to the movies after 13 years.

Sarileru Neekevvaru also stars Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna, Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad, Bandla Ganesh, Rohini, Vennela Kishore and others in the supporting roles. Produced by Anil Sunkara under AK Entertainments banner, the film has Rathnavelu handling the camera and Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music.

Third chance to Allu Arjun?

AR Murugadoss is one of the talented filmmakers of the Tamil film Industry and recently during an interview, he admitted that he has failed to impress the Telugu audiences. According to him, he has failed to satisfy Telugu audiences. Recently Akira director said, “When I did Spyder with Mahesh Babu, I’ve focused more on his Tamil launch but ignored Telugu market and the audiences. I have failed to catch the pulse of Telugu movie lovers here, the result went for a toss.” AR Murugadoss’ two straight Telugu films were Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer Stalin and Mahesh Babu starrer Spyder, which have gone for a toss at the box office. Now AR Murugadoss is planning to team up with his third Telugu hero, who is none other than Stylish Star Allu Arjun.

AR Murugadoss is in the hunt of a Telugu actor and it is heard that recently he has narrated a story to Stylish Star Allu Arjun with whom he wanted to make a bilingual movie for a long time. After listening to the narration, Allu Arjun said that he wanted some time for giving the final call. Now we have to wait and see whether Allu Arjun who has multiple projects in his kitty, will give his nod to AR Murugadoss or not for a bilingual drama.

If the rumors in the media are to be believed, the scripting is underway. The speculations say that this collaboration between AR Murugadoss and Allu Arjun is likely to happen in mid-2021. Allu Arjun will be the third Telugu hero after Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu with whom AR Murugadoss will work.

After delivering commercially flop movie Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India, Allu Arjun took a year gap and has signed three films, Trivikram Srinivas’ Ala Vaikuntapuramloo, AA 20 with Sukumar and Venu Sriram’ directorial venture Icon. Currently, he is busy with the promotional activities of Ala Vaikuntapuramloo, which is gearing up for grand release on the occasion of Sankranthi. Meanwhile, Murugadoss is waiting for the release of Darbar.
