Senior actress Vijayashanti, the lady Amitabh, is winning hearts since her debut in the film industry in 1979 with the movies Kirakkul Eram  and Kiladi Krishnudu. She made her comeback in Telugu Film Industry  after  a long gap of 13 years with the movie Sarileru Neekevvaru in which Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu and Kannada babe Rashmika Mandanna played the lead role. The movie Sarileru Neekevvaru was turned out  a blockbuster at the box office and Vijayashanti was flooded with a number of offers from the film makers.

During the promotions of Mahesh Babu film Sarileru Neekevvaru, the superstar Vijayashanti  admitted that she felt nervous before she started the shooting for Sarileru Neekevvaru. And she also stated that she would be continuing her career in the film industry and that she will be doing at least one film every year.  When Chiranjeevi asked Vijayashanti to act with him again, she responded positively.  But  the actress is now not showing any interest in  the movies.

 The sources say that Vijayshanti is not showing interest to take up new films. Reasons best known to her, she is now turning down offers.

Vijayashanti is one of the talented actresses of Telugu film industry as the number one heroine in the 90’s.  But it seems she has decided to stay away from the films.

Venkatesh Daggubati is fondly known as the ‘Victory’ hero of Telugu Film Industry, he is among the few star heroes in Telugu Film Industry who have impressed his fans by playing a variety of roles across different genres. Venkatesh Daggubati is popular for acting in  content-driven subjects and  family entertainer movies.  With consistent box-office successes during the late 80s, 90s and early 2000s, Venkatesh Daggubati cemented his place as one among the top four pillars of Tollywood along with Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, and Akkineni Nagarjuna.

After delivering back to back hit movies such as F2 Fun and Frustration, and Venky Mama, now Venkatesh is busy in his upcoming film Narrappa, the remake of Tamil film Asuran. Demand for Venkatesh increased and many producers are waiting to do movies with him. Now the reports are coming that Venkatesh has hiked his remuneration.

Venkatesh Daggubati  who was getting Rs 5 Crs for a movie, has doubled his remuneration and now demanding Rs 10 crs.  The producers are getting shock and  few have decided to scout for other heros.

It is known news that apart from Narrappa, Venkatesh has also given green signal to Tharun Bhascker for a project.  Currently Tharun is busy in the script work.

Last year, it was announced that producer Boney Kapoor has acquired the rights of 2018’s surprise hit Bollywood movie Badhaai Ho and wanted to remake the film in the south Indian languages. It was also heard that the filmmaker decided to remake Badhaai Ho  in Telugu and actor Naga Chaitanya was on the board to reprise Ayushmann Khurrana’s role in the film. But now according to the latest update, Badhaai Ho remake with Naga Chaitanya has been scrapped.

Helmed by Amit Ravindrenath Sharma, Badhaai Ho starring Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao and Surekha Sikri, is all about the story of a middle-aged couple, who unexpectedly get pregnant and become a talking point in the local area. How their children come to term with this  good news forms the crux of the story. The film Badhaai Ho had a dream run at the box office earning over 200 crores worldwide.

Naga Chaitanya is currently working for romantic drama Love Story which is helmed by  Sekhar Kammula and has Sai Pallavi in the female lead role.  The movie Love Story is expected to hit the theaters either in May or June.

Although Boney Kapoor and  Dil Raju are now remaking ‘Pink’ in Telugu as ‘Vakeel Saab’ in which Power Star Pawan Kalyan is playing the lead role.

Trivikram Srinivas in his early years of career as director worked with Mahesh Babu for two films Athadu and Khaleja. While there is no super hit among these two movies, a cult following is there for them. Even today repeated scenes of Athadu and Khaleja will be played for entertainment. Since then Trivikram and Mahesh Babu have tried to collaborate for the third time but that didn’t happen anytime soon. In the meanwhile, Trivikram made close bonding with Pawan Kalyan and then to Allu Arjun.

With the recent box office clash between Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapuramulo, gap between Mahesh and Trivikram Srinivas is evident. According to the close sources, Trivikram Srinivas is now trying to patch up with the super star. Haarika and Hassini creations S Radha Krishna has taken an appointment to meet Mahesh Babu and this meeting might happen after the lock down period got completed.

Close circles to Trivikram reveal that this meeting will be to discuss few things before taking movie between Mahesh and Trivikram into consideration. According to them, movie will take more time than expected to get confirmed. Mahesh will next be busy with Parasuram’s direction and Trivikram Srinivas with NTR’s movie.

When Ram Charan’s birthday surprise video released from RRR team everyone got surprised. Many have expected Ram Charan in a traditional attire look of 1920s as he is playing the role of Alluri Seetha Ramaraju. But they got shock as Ram Charan is seen in khaki avatar wearing belt. This is no means an 1920s look. With this many have got to their own conclusions. There started a new theory that this movie is based on two timelines. While 1920s backdrop is the first one there will be another parallel backdrop running at present time.

If Ram Charan playing the role of Police Officer is true, then it will be third time that he is playing the role of Police Officer. In the past for Zanjeer, Charan has played the role of cop for the first time which bombed big at the box office. Then it was for Dhruva he again donned khaki uniform. If the latest speculations about RRR are true, it will be third time that he is playing police officer. While these rumors are baseless or have some weight is unknown at the moment.

Whenever SS Rajamouli’ film is arriving, he is generally blamed for plagiarism.  The netizens are always quick to point out where Rajamouli lifted an episode or scene. From Simhadri movie to Baahubali series,  the film maker Rajamouli was accused of lifting many episodes from the Hollywood movie. Now, SS Rajamouli’ upcoming directorial venture  RRR also is attracting the allegations of plagiarism.

• Magadheera Cluster of arrows
• Rana Daggubati’ chariot in Baahubali and the one in Hercules movie
• Maryada Ramanna copied from “Our Hospitality”
• Vikramarkudu scene and its eerie similarity to a scene in Vijayashanti’ movie
• Baahubali 2: The conclusion poster copied

On the occasion of Ugadi, the makers of RRR released  the motion poster  that which he showed Jr NTR as water and Mega Power Star Ram Charan as fire. The motion poster of RRR gives clarity about characters of Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the film. But, now Rajamouli is  facing allegations of plagiarism for the motion poster. According to the latest buzz, Rajamouli has inspired the concept from Hollywood movie ‘Fire and Ice’ which released in 1983. Few are also saying that Rajamouli has lifted several the concept of RRR from that Hollywood movie.

RRR is all about the story of freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetha Rama Raju, which will be released on 8th January 2021.
