It is known that Mega Star Chiranjeevi is currently playing lead role in the movie titled Acharya which is being directed by Koratala Shiva. Chiranjeevi is quite excited about this project. In a recent interview, Chiranjeevi praised Koratala Shiva to large extent. He is impressed with the script of Koratala Shiva totally and he is excited to be a part of it. He said that the director has more concern towards the society and his script reflects society.

It is also known that in Acharya there is a special character in the movie which was supposed to be played by Ram Charan. However with the unavailability concerns of Charan due to RRR, many have thought that Mahesh Babu will be playing that role but Chiranjeevi insisted that Ram Charan should play that role at any cost and he personally requested SS Rajamouli so that he can leave Charan for about a month.

Rajamouli has agreed as Chiru himself has asked. So the question is, Why Chiranjeevi is so much insisting on Charan playing that role. Well there are multiple reasons behind that. First one is definitely the script. Chiranjeevi is bowled over by the script and that special role will be a memorable one if clicked well. Secondly it is the combination of Chiru and Charan that will make mega fans excited.

Deva Katta seemed to be a promising aspect when he made his debut with the film Vennela. Later Prasthanam turned out to be a game changer. Though the film is not so big hit, it has created lot of impact on the film makers, actors afterwise. Deva Katta was acclaimed to be a top director. He introduced such a talents of Sundeep Kishan, Vennela Kishore through his films who are now ruling the roost in Tollywood.

But Deva Katta in turn is being in flops and is looking for a strong comeback. The films he made post Prasthanam didn’t work as expected. The one film which turned the tides upside down is Autonagar Surya. This movie before release raised many expectations but it got delayed for release. It took almost three years to get released and post release it didn’t live upto the expectations either.

When asked Deva Katta reveals that Autonagar Surya has given him unforgettable memories. Stating the reason for flop, Deva Katta raised few concerns. He said that Vennela and Prasthanam budgets are in his hands and he made the film as he wished. But coming to Auto Nagar Surya, he alleged that he was cheated by a gang of thieves indirectly pointing it towards the producers. He blamed that reason behind his current position is Autonagar Surya result.

Young talented hero to be Balayya’s assistant?

Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu film is in news since a couple of months. Though the project got launched long time it took few months to get for regular shooting. Makers have faced budget constraints and everything is clear, first schedule of the film got completed but soon corona virus pandemic has forced shootings to be halted. Now second schedule will start once permissions will be given.

Meanwhile there has been many updates regarding the project. Latest update is that talented young hero Naveen Polishetty has been roped in for a crucial role in the movie. Naveen Polishetty last year scored a memorable hit with the film Agent Sai Srinivasa Atreya. He is now playing lead role in the movie Jaati Ratnalu which is being produced by Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame.

It is said that Naveen Polishetty’s role is that of an assistant to Nandamuri Balakrishna. His role have some importance in the subject. However we have to wait and see whether this news is true or not. SS Thaman is providing music for the project and there are updates that two new heroines will be roped in this movie. More details about this project will be revealed later.

Corona virus pandemic has changed the entire equation for Tollywood. All the release dates, all the shooting schedules everything went out of hands in this pandemic situation. Currently lock down got imposed and everyone has no idea when things will become normal again. Coming to the expectations of release dates, there is possibility that mega clash is inevitable for Pongal season.

Sankranthi is considered to be the biggest season for Tollywood. 2020 had great start for Tollywood with two biggies Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapuramulo made huge money. But corona virus forced to shut down all the theaters. It is almost evident that Rajamouli’s RRR will miss the scheduled Sankranthi release.

With this trade analysts are predicting few movies which can schedule their releases for Sankranthi season. Positive options they have before them is Pawan Kalyan‘s Vakeel Saab and Chiranjeevi‘s Acharya. Almost 80 percent shoot of Vakeel Saab is completed but Dil Raju is making sure that Sankranthi release will be best for Pawan Kalyan. On the other hand, Acharya was first scheduled for Dussehra release but taking current situation into consideration Koratala Shiva and Chiru came into conclusion that Sankranthi race is best for them. However clear picture will come in coming months.

After delivering the successful movie RX 100,  Ajay Bhupathi has been trying hard to kick start his next project, which is titled ‘Maha Samudram’.  Ajay Bhuptahi has already locked the young actor Sharwanand to play one of the lead role.  Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, the makers have roped another actor to play the lead role in Maha Samudram and he is none other than Siddharth.

 The reports are coming that Siddharth is now finalized as the second lead actor in this intense action thriller, Maha Samudram, which will be directed by Ajay Bhupathi. Siddharth has been in talks for the project ever since Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja was on board. Siddharth heard the script,  and as he was very impressed with his character, gave his nod.  With this film, Siddharth is making his comeback in Telugu film Industry after a long gap.

Fidaa and Love Story girl Sai Pallavi is the female lead  and currently the makers are in the hunt of another female lead for Siddharth.  The upcoming multistarrer Maha Samudram will be bankrolled by Anil Sunkara under the banner of AK Entertainment. Ajay Bhupathi is currently busy in giving final touches to the script.

An official announcement regarding the  inclusion of Siddharth, will be made  after the lockdown gets lifted.

As the shoot of the movies have been halted due to lockdown, the celebrities are staying at their home. But few are interacting with electronic media and giving interviews from home. Recently SS Rajamouli, who is popular for making blockbuster movies also attended an interview and shared interesting things about Nandamuri Balakrishna and Jr NTR.

Nandamuri Balakrishna has a huge fan following in the Telugu states.  When a reporter asked SS Rajamouli whether he had ever thought of working with Balakrishna, for which he replied, “Every director wishes to work every hero in the film industry. I also thought Balakrishna would be a perfect match for the film Simhadri but the things did not materialize.”

17 years ago, SS Rajamouli wanted to make a film with Ballaya Babu. First Rajamouli considered Balakrishna for Simhadri but Lion star did not show any interest as he did many faction films by that time.   After  Balakrishna’ rejection,  SS Rajamouli narrated the script to Young Tiger Jr  NTR and he gave his green signal. After the release, the movie turned out blockbuster. Later SS Rajamouli tried to rope Balakrishna in his film, but he failed to make one with him.

 On the work front, currently Rajamouli is busy in RRR and Balakrishna is working for Boyapati Srinu’ directorial venture.

A few days back, Baahubali film maker SS Rajamouli surprised everyone when he revealed that he is going to make a movie with Superstar Mahesh Babu.  This upcoming crazy project may go on the floors once SS Rajamouli wraps up his ongoing project RRR in which Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Tiger Jr NTR. There is a huge hype on this project of Mahesh and Rajamouli. Everyone is eager to know that what kind of a film Rajamouli makes with Mahesh Babu. Now reports are coming that before joining the sets of SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture, Mahesh Babu wants to make another film as there is a lot of time for Rajamouli project to start.

After the completion of RRR, Rajamouli will take a long break and later will start to work on Maharshi star’ project. So Mahesh Babu has decided to  hunt for star directors with whom he can join his hands for a film.

Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Trivkram Srinivas might direct Mahesh Babu. Meanwhile, Bharat Ane Nenu star has joined hands with director Parasuram for a film, which is going to be launched very soon.

 On the otherside, recently during an interview, Vamsi Paidipally has also confirmed that his project with Mahesh Babu is on.
