Rajamouli determines to carry on: RRR

The state governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have recently granted permission for the resumption of film and Television show shootings. The shoots should be done with limited staff by following all the recommended guidelines and precautions issued by the government from time to time. SS Rajamouli decided to have a 2 day trial shoot to take a final call on when to resume the actual shoot.

The shoot of RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR was planned earlier this week, but it was cancelled due to the unavailability of police permission and some of the team members’ reluctance to take any risk in view of the rising coronavirus positive cases.

Now it is being heard that Rajamouli is determined to carry on with the trial shoot early next week. Jr NTR, Ram Charan and other technicians are expected to take part in the trial shoot of RRR.

Set in the pre-independence era, RRR– Roudram Ranam Rudhiram showcases Jr NTR and Ram Charan as Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetha Ramaraju, respectively. The big budget movie RRR, which is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya, which was scheduled to release on 8th January, 2021, also features Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris and Samuthirakani in crucial roles.

Manchu Manoj actress says: Labels of sxy and bld are horrible

Riya Sen is one of the gorgeous actress of film industry, who comes from a family of actors including her grandmother Suchitra Sen, mother Moon Moon Sen and sister Raima Sen. The labels of s*xy and b*ld were horrible as there was pressure to look perfect all the time which bothered me most of the time.”

Riya Sen added that being s*xualised in movies and music videos at a young age made her so uncomfortable that she decided to stop working in Hindi films.

At the age of 16, the h*t actress Riya Sen got her breakthrough when she featured in the music video of Falguni Pathak’ song Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi. After her appearance in this music video, several movies followed. Her first commercial success in movies came with sleeper hit comedy movie Style, which was released in 2011. Ever since then, Riya Sen has come a long way in her career in the entertainment industry.

Apart from acting, Riya Sen has also walked the ramp for various popular clothing brands and fashion designers. She has also posed for many popular magazines too.

Riya Sen made her debut in Tollywood with the movie Nenu Meeku Telusa…? in which Manchu Manoj played the lead role.

A welcome change in RRR: Actor role increases in Rajamouli film

It is known news that Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan is playing a crucial role in upcoming much awaited multilingual movie RRR which has Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles. Ajay Devgn will be brought in the flashback episodes of the movie RRR with a thumping episode. Now the reports are coming that the role of Ajay Devgn in SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture RRR has been increased from a cameo to a key role. He has already shot 10 days for the film at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, where Delhi from the 1900s was recreated.

Once the shoot of RRR starts, Ajay Devgn and Alia are expected to join the team. RRR is the fictionalised retelling of the story of the freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, played by Rangasthalam fame Ram Charan and Aravinda Sametha fame Jr NTR respectively.

The sources say that around 25 per cent of the shoot of RRR still remains. With Ramoji Film City and other studios in Hyderabad opening up for shoots, SS Rajamouli is expected to resume work.

The film RRR, which is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya, which was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on 8th January 2021, will get a new release date.

One more OTT platform to float for Telugu audience?

OTT platforms are becoming the concentrating business aspect for many. Already digital giants like Netflix and Prime have taken a major share of the market in this field. Top producer Allu Aravind has floated OTT platform Aha which is exclusive with Telugu content. Already there are few movies and web series that are streaming in this space. Aha has been getting a decent response from the Telugu audience.

Telugu film Bhanumati Ramakrishna is going to stream in this platform from July 3rd and Allu Aravind has made large plans to keep Aha on the top. According to the latest buzz in the industry, there will be another OTT platform for the Telugu audience soon. Popular actor and manager Raja Raveendra along with his friends is going to start an OTT platform.

This platform will be exclusively for Telugu films that are struggling to get a release. His team will identify quality content which is stuck with a financial crunch. Raja Raveendra will invest in these films and strike a deal for digital rights.

The OTT platform is aiming to acquire at least 100 films as a start. We have to wait and see how this new OTT platform will perform amid the huge competition.

Ram Charan, Jr NTR say no to Rajamouli proposal: RRR shoot canceled

SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture RRR starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Tiger Jr NTR, which is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya, is one of the much-hyped movie of the film industry. Recently it was heard that SS Rajamouli is planning to resume the shoot but now the reports are coming that the shoot of RRR has been canceled.

All the efforts of SS Rajamouli to resume the shoot of his directorial venture RRR amid this corona crisis have failed. However, with the news that a TV actor was tested for Coronavirus positive in a TV serial shooting, Rajamouli has decided to not resume the shoot of RRR . As the coronavirus cases are increasing in Hyderabad, Rajamouli felt that the test shoot is a risky proposition. It is also being heard that Jr NTR and Ram Charan were also not ready to join the sets. They said no to the proposal of SS Rajamouli to the test shoot.

SS Rajamouli planned to commence the test shoot of RRR this weekend in Hyderabad with the limited staff and new guidelines laid by the government. Though initially Ram Charan and Jr NTR were ready to join the sets later they said no to Rajamouli.

This is the first time, Jr NTR and Ram Charan are working together for a multilingual movie RRR which also has Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and Olivia Morris.

Reason behind Ileana D Cruz rejection

Goa beauty Ileana D Cruz has acted in several Telugu and Hindi films, and hence the makers of the Telugu remake of Andhadhun were reportedly looking at Ileana D Cruz for the role of Tabu. But now according to the latest update, Ileana D Cruz has rejected the offer of Nithiin starrer, which has become the talk of the town. Both Ileana D Cruz and Nithiin have been good friends ever since they worked together in Rechipo, which was released in 2009. Currently, Barfi girl does not have any Telugu film in her kitty, but she rejected the offer of Andhadhun remake, it is giving shock to everyone.

However, here is the main reason why Ileana D Cruz said no to Nithiin starrer Andhadhun’ Telugu remake. Apparently, the makers of the remake had approached Ileana for the role of Tabu, not Radhika Apte’s role. Even though senior actress Tabu had enough screentime and scope for performance, but Ileana D Cruz is not interested in essaying the role of an old lady and negative roles on screen.

The Telugu remake of Andhadhun will see Nithiin playing the lead role which was originally played by National Award-winning actor Ayushmann Khurrana. It is being heard that Shilpa Shetty Kundra is making a comeback to the Telugu film industry with this remake.

Samantha decides to slash her remuneration

On the occasion of Valentine day, director Vignesh Shivan surprised the movie lovers by revealing the title of his fourth feature film, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal in which Samantha Akkineni and lady superstar Nayantara will play the female leads. The project Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal will go on floors by this year-end. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Samantha Akkineni has decided to slash her remuneration for this upcoming film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal.

The Chennai media is filled with news that Samantha Akkineni has lowered her remuneration to be a part of Vignesh Shivan’ directorial venture. It is being heard that as Samantha is very impressed with her character but as the budget was less, Oh Baby girl decided to cut down her remuneration and came on board.

Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal has Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. It is a romantic comedy playing on a triangular love story angle between its lead actors. Samantha, Nayantara and Vijay Sethupathi starrer has the music by Anirudh Ravichander and it is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and Rowdy Pictures. Interestingly, Vignesh Shivan, Nayantara, Vijay Sethupathi and Anirudh Ravichander have collaborated earlier for Naanum Rowdy Thaan.

Meanwhile Samantha will be seen playing the negative role in web series The Family Man 2.
