Nithya Menen, who is well known face for South Indian movie lovers, was last seen in Udhayanidhi Stalin’ Psycho  and currently she is busy in the promotional activities of her series which is going to release on OTT platform. Awe girl Nithya Menen has shared her opinion on the long going debate about south Indian actresses not getting their due in Hindi Film Industry and she also talked about body shaming.

Mission Mangal fame Nithya Menen said, “ Some of the top most actresses in  Hindi film Industry have all been south Indian starting from Vyjayanthimala, Padmini, Waheeda Rehman, Sridevi. I am coming in order of time to Aishwarya Rai and Deepika Padukone.”

Mersal girl Nithya added, “I want to do good films in this industry, it’s not about Bollywood or wherever. If you are saying that south film industries are not good enough, that is not true. I think these debates are happening for the sake of debates only and there is no need for it.”

Nithya Menen also opened up about the body shaming took a toll on her as she said, “Of course, everyone get affected for sure. There is no doubt about it. But what happens is that you realize that you will never get criticized by someone who does more than you. You will always get criticized by someone who does lesser than you.”

Dubbing films to hit theaters first post reopen

Tamil dubbing films dominating Tollywood is not a new thing. From the past many years, we have been witnessing Tamil heroes taking a big chunk of the market. Heroes like Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Suriya, Karthi, Vijay enjoys decent craze in Tollywood.

Vijay Sethupathi, Ajith, Dhanush are slowly grabbing the markets as well. They have separate fan bases in Tollywood as well.

Taking the current situation into consideration, though theaters might reopen from September, many Tollywood filmmakers are not keen to release their movies immediately. They are skeptical about the audience reception. However, dubbing films will not think of that risk.

Tamil filmmakers are selling the distribution rights to a single distributor in Telugu states for affordable prices. So distribution companies are showing interest to buy dubbing movies. Already few of the deals got completed and talk is that dubbing movies will hit the theaters first after reopening of theaters.

Majili is their first film post marriage. According to the latest update they are going to team up soon. Vikram Kumar of Manam, 24 fame is making this possible again.

There are rumors regarding this news from the past few days and it is official now. Naga Chaitanya is currently playing the lead role in the movie Love Story and post this movie he will shift to Vikram’s film. Samantha has agreed to play the female lead in the movie. Thank You is the title that is in consideration for the project.

Tollywood producers have already lost a big chunk of the amount with the current pandemic. They have lost lots of amounts with the delay in film releases and no shootings. Their film’s budgets are increasing with delay in the making.

OTT platforms are coming forward to release the already completed movies but for big-budgeted films, these deals are of no match. So they have no option but to wait for the theaters to reopen.

However, this pandemic situation is turning as a blessing in disguise for the small movies. OTT platforms are showing interest in releasing small movies through their platforms. They are striking deals with the small movie filmmakers on pay per view basis. Coming to Tollywood, Aha and Zee5 are frontrunners in finalizing the deals.

As per the latest update, the OTT platform Aha will be releasing almost 20 small movies in the coming months. These are few movies that are struggling to get releases for theatrical. Zee5 too is coming up with such deals.

Slowly filmmakers are coming to the terms that it will be impossible to resume shooting their films any time soon. Though they tried to shoot last week, a spike in the positive cases has led them to drop their plans.

Now according to the latest update shootings will not resume before September. This also means that the films which have completed the shooting and are waiting for the release might hit Dussehra season if the conditions permit then.

The films which have targeted Dussehra and Diwali season now are changing their plans for Sankranthi. Post a couple of films, Nandamuri Balakrishna‘s next too joins this race. It is known that Balayya is playing the lead role in the movie which is being directed by Boyapati Srinu.

Their combination itself is a blockbuster. Their previous two outings are sensational and there is already huge buzz for their bat-trick collaboration. This project has completed a single schedule. Makers are planning to resume shoot in September and release the film for Sankranthi.

In 2018, when an Insta user asked Ileana D Cruz, why she selected a ‘foreigner man’ as her life partner, to which, the actress, Ileana reverted, “I fell in love with a person’ heart. His skin, color or nationality doesn’t matter to me.” When another one asked her, “Are you madly in love with Andrew Kneebone?”, to which Ileana replied, “Madly in love”.

Critically acclaimed director Vikram Kumar who is popular for delivering Ishtam, 13B, Ishq, Manam, 24, Hello and Gang Leader are planning to bring Akkineni couple- Samantha and Naga Chaitanya together on the screen.

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha acted together in four films so far. While Ye Maaya Chesave, Manam and Majili turned out to be super hits,  but Autonagar Surya was the only flop in their combination.  Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, once again they are going to share the screen space for an upcoming film, which is tentatively titled Thank You.  Going by the title, one can expect the upcoming film will have its theme based on gratitude.

The sources say that Manam fame director Vikram Kumar has put a condition before Naga Chaitanya that he will do this movie Thank you only if  he agrees to convince Samantha Akkineni to play female lead in it. Now we have to wait and see whether Samantha Akkineni will accept this condition.

It is known news that currently Naga Chaitanya is working with Sekhar Kammula for an upcoming film, which has Premam girl Sai Pallavi in the female lead role. This is the first time Chaitu and Sai Pallavi are sharing the screen space.
