On 7th December, the playback Singer Sunitha Upadrasta made official announcement regarding her engagement with Ram Veerapaneni, who is the CEO of Whacked Out Media, the leading South Indian movie promotion company and the digital wing of ‘Mango Group’.  Earlier there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Sunitha Upadrasta will tie the knot with Ram in in February 2021.  But now according to the latest report, the popular singer Sunitha is all set to tie the knot with Ram on 9th January, 2021, in Hyderabad.

The sources say that her marriage will be a low key affair, which will be attended by close friends and relatives.

Sunitha started her singing career at the age of 17 with Telugu movie Gulabi and she has hundreds of Telugu songs to her credit and her recent hit song is  “Neeli Neeli Akasam” from 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela.

The Telugu singer also  has also earned praise for her dubbing work in Manmadhudu, Anand, Chudalani Undi, Jayam,  and Godavari among others.  She is not only a singer but also an actor, a dubbing artist and a host. Sunitha has been featured in the programmes by “All India Radio” at a very young age and  received many awards in competitions.

In the month of September, on the occasion of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’ birthday,  Krish announced his magnum opus PSPK 27 and also released a pre-look poster.  Touted  to be a period drama,  it will be made on a lavish budget and will feature actors from pan-India.

The upcoming film, to be produced by AR Rathnam, will mark the maiden collaboration of Gautamiputra Satakarni fame  Krish and Pawan Kalyan, who has returned to acting after a hiatus of 2 years.  Apparently, a Bollywood actor is being considered for the role of a villain and it  will feature two leading ladies.

Usually, most of the heroes in the film industry do not allow their directors to start a new project keeping aside the ongoing project. But  Power Star Pawan Kalyan is one who agreed for Krish’s appeal and allowed him to make a movie with the young hero Vaishnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh starrer before he joins the sets.

With the coronavirus lockdown, everyone postponed their shootings.  According to Krish, he persuaded Pawan Kalyan that he would complete the film in 45 days. After getting the nod from  Gabber Singh star, he roped Rakul Preet Singh and Vaishnav Tej for the film.

The wedding celebrations of  mega princess Niharika Konidela and Chaitanya Jonnalagedda was a grand affair.  They tied the knot on 9th December  at Udaivilas Palace in the presence of their family members and the close friends. Niharika’s brother Varun Tej organized the entire marriage. After the wedding, the couple hosted a grand wedding reception on 11th December.   The photographs and the videos of their wedding and the reception went viral on the social media. Now Niharika Konidela and her husband Chaitanya Jonnalagadda are visiting temples from the past couple of days. Niharika Kondiela  recently celebrated her birthday and  now the reports are coming that the couple is flying away for their honeymoon soon.

The sources say that  Niharika and Chiatnya are going to Maldives for their honeymoon.  There are rumors about Chaitanya making  debut in Telugu film industry as a hero in Telugu film industry.

Niharika  Konidela and Chaitanya got engaged in the month of August  this year at a plush hotel in Hyderabad.

Niharika’ husband Chaitanya is the son of Guntur Inspector of Police, M Prabhakara Rao. On the work front, Niharika was last seen in Sye Raa Narasimha  Reddy starring megastar Chiranjeevi,  milky siren Tamannah Bhatia, Amitabh Bachchan, lady superstar Nayantara.

We have already reported that Gunasekhar is gearing up to direct Shaakuntalam, a woman centric film. After delivering his directorial and production venture Rudhramadevi starring Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati, now Gunasekhar is coming up with  a historical costume drama that is rumored to be inspired by the epic Mahabharatam.  Now according to the latest report, Pooja Hegde will play the female lead in Gunasekhar’ Shaakuntalam.

The sources close to the Gunasekhar revealed that the film makers are approaching Pooja Hegde to play the titular role and if she gives her nod, will be seen playing the role of Shaakuntala in this film.

According to Gunasekhar, the upcoming woman centric movie Shaakuntalam  is all about the story of Shakuntala, daughter of the apsara Menaka and sage Vishwamitra. The  upcoming film is based upon a love affair, secret marriage, separation and reunion of Dushyanta and Shaakuntala.

Gunasekhar’ directorial venture Shakuntalam  is produced by Neelima Guna under  the banner of Gunaa Teamworks and it  has music by Mani Sharma.  The upcoming film Shaakuntalam  is bringing curiosity among the public with an interesting premise. After ‘Shaakuntalam’, Gunasekhar is expected to direct another mythological drama ‘Hiranyakashapa’  in which Baahubali star Rana Daggubati will play the lead role.

Pooja Hegde’ previous offering was Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo  costarring Stylish Star Allu Arjun.

The sources close to Trivikram Srinivas revealed that Sunil will be seen in a different role in the upcoming film of Jr NTR starrer. Though it was heard that the comedian will play a crucial role, but now it is being heard that he will be seen in a negative role.  Trivikram Srinivas  has penned a powerful villain role for Sunil.  The reports claim that the makers are considering Ayinanu Poyiraavale Hasthinaku as the title of the film.

Jr NTR and Trivikram Srinivas’ film will be co-produced by Jr NTR’s brother Nandamuri Kalyanram under the NTR Arts banner. Meanwhile, Jr NTR is busy in SS Rajamouli’s directorial venture RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead. RRR is all about the stories of revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.

Sai Pallavi quotes Rs 2 Cr for Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake

Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake has been launched recently with formal pooja ceremony. The movie revolves around the battle of egos between a retired havildar named Koshy Kurien, essayed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, and a police officer named Ayyappan Nair, played by Biju Menon. Pawan Kalyan will be seen in the role of Biju Menon whereas Rana Daggubati will essay the character of Prithviraj. The makers of Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake approached Sai Pallavi to play one of the female leads but she quoted a whopping Rs 2 Crore as her remuneration. Her demands gave huge shock to the makers.

Sai Pallavi was approached for the role of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’ wife in Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake. Now we have to wait and see whether Sai Pallavi will be the part of this remake or not. The roles of actors’ wives are important,  but they don’t have much screen presence.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rajesh has been roped in and she will be seen in the role of Rana Daggubati’s wife in this action drama. Samuthirakani will make his screen presence as Rana Daggubati’ father. The remake of Pawan Kalyan  and Rana Daggubati starrer will be helmed by Sagar K Chandra.

 Meanwhile Sai Pallavi is working with Naga Chaitanya in Love Story.
