South lady to play Goddess Sita in Prabhas Adipurush

The young Rebel Star Prabhas who has a promising line-up of films, was recently spotted in Mumbai at the Bandra Kurla Complex. He was spotted  wearing a purple T-shirt and black trouser. He had also covered his hair with a bandana.  According to the latest report, Prabhas is all set to join the sets of Adipurush, which will be helmed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame. On the other hand, the makers of Adipurush are yet to lock the heroine who will be playing the role of Goddess Sita in Prabhas starrer.

Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that after considering many names, the team is tilting towards South star heroine Keerthy Suresh for the role of Sita in Prabhas and Om Raut’ Adipurush. However, an official confirmation regarding the inclusion of Keerthy Suresh in this much hyped big budget project is awaited.

The reports are coming that Prabhas is hitting the gym twice a day to get a leaner look for his upcoming film Adipurush.  In the film, which is being shot in 3D, Prabhas will play Lord Ram while Saif Ali Khan will play Ravana- Lankesh.

Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush is a mythological film, which is based on the epic Ramayana.

Apart from this, the upcoming Prabhas’ movies include Salaar and Radhe Shyam.

The  Young Rebel star Prabhas is currently sharing the screen space with Pooja Hegde in an upcoming romantic film Radhe Shyam, which is on the verge of completion.   Radhe Shyam is a periodic entertainer, which is being helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar and is bankrolled by UV Creations.

Prabhas is playing the role of Palmist whereas Pooja Hegde will be seen as a dance teacher.  Radhe Shyam is slated to hit the theaters on 30th July Worldwide in a very grand manner and it is all set to compete with Alia Bhatt starrer upcoming much hyped woman centric movie Gangubai Kathiawadi, which is also arriving at the theaters on the same day.

Now another Hindi movie Tadap is going to fight with Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam and Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi at the box office.

Tadap is an upcoming Hindi film, which is a remake of Telugu blockbuster movie RX 100 starring Kartikeya and Payal  Rajput. In Tadap, Suniel Shetty’ son Ahan Shetty  and  Tara Sutaria  are playing the lead roles and currently the shoot is going on at the brisk pace under the direction of Milan Luthria. The makers of Tadap are planning to release the movie on 30th July.

Prashanth Neel is currently busy in his directorial venture KGF Chapter 2 in which Kannada star Yash and Srinidhi Shetty are playing the lead role. He is also helming Prabhas starrer Salaar which has Krack lady Shruti Haasan as the leading lady. Although the director Prashanth Neel enjoys stardom,  but his magnum opus KGF 2 is not getting the right business deals. So eth producers of KGF 2  are coming up with a master plan to use Salaar as an offering to distributors in selling KGF : Chapter 2 for higher rates.

It is known news that  Prashant Neel and Hombale Films are working for both the movie Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 2 and Prabhas starrer Salaar. Now the reports are coming that  the producers are using Salaar as a recoverable expense for any losses incurred by Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2.  The sources say that producers are quoting Rs 90 Cr for the rights of KGF 2 for the Telugu states.

Salaar will see the Baahubali star Prabhas play a violent character. When the project was announced in the month of December last year, Prabhas had called Prashanth Neel’ directorial venture Salaar a territory unexplored.

Apart from Salaar, Prabhas will also be seen in Nag Ashwin’s multilingual sci-fi film co-starring Deepika Padukone and  Om Raut’  Adipurush, and Radha Krishna Kumar’ Radhe Shyam.

Akkineni Nagarjuna who is waiting for the release of upcoming investigative thriller drama Wild Dog, recently interacted with media and talked about Bangarraju. Manmadhudu star Nagarjuna revealed that Bangarraju will  be going on floors either in the month of June or July.  And it may be released during the Sankranthi season in 2022. If Nagarjuna starrer Bangarraju will arrive at the theaters on the occasion of Sankranthi 2022, it will compete with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata, helmed by Parasuram and Pawan Kalyan starrer Harihara Veeramallu, which are also releasing on this festive occasion.

Bangarraju  is a sequel to Soggade Chinni Nayana, which was helmed by Kalyan Krishna. In this film Nagarjuna played the dual role and the film had Ramya Krishna and Lavanya Tripathi in the  female lead roles.

While King Nagarjuna will reprise the titular role from the prequel Soggade Chinni Nayana, Ramya Krishnan will be seen as Bangarraju’s wife Satyabhama. Interestingly, the movie also stars Naga Chaitanya Akkineni in one of the lead role.

Nagarjuna will be seen playing an NIA officer in Wild Dog, which is jointly produced  by Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy, Ahishor Solomon is directing the movie and it has Dia Mirza as the leading lady.
