Before the lockdown itself, actress Shriya has revealed to everyone that she is a part of RRR and she will be seen as Ajay Devgn’s wife in the project.

Ajay Devgn will be seen as the guru to both Ram Charan and NTR in the film. It is well known that Ram Charan and NTR are playing the role of Alluri Seeta Ramaraju and Komuram Bheem respectively.

The film’s shooting is progressing briskly. After the climax portions shoot, the next schedule will kickstart next month. As per the latest information, SS Rajamouli has decided to cut off the sequences of Shriya as he feels that the run time of RRR is going to be excessive.

So he decides to remove her portion which is of less importance when compared to others.

RRR is scheduled for release on October 13th 2021.

Venkatesh Daggubati next with Sekhar Kammula

If ongoing buzz in the media and the film industry are to be believed, Venkatesh Daggubati is all set to work with Sekhar Kammula for a Telugu project. It is being heard that Sekhar Kammula who is known for helming  Fidaa starring  Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi, has approached Venky Mama fame Venkatesh for a film.

If everything goes  as per plan, the movie will be bankrolled by Narayan Das K. Narang and Pushkar Ram Mohan Rao, who is currently producing Sekhar Kammula’s ongoing project ‘Love Story’ starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. The details of the cast of this upcoming untitled project of Vankatesh are kept under wraps.

Currently Venkatesh has three projects in his kitty which are in different production stages. He has already wrapped up the shoot of revenge drama  Naarappa, which is a remake of Tamil film Asuran. The film is helmed by Srikanth Addala and is slated to hit the theaters during the summer.

Currently he is working with Anil Ravipudi for F3,  which is a sequel to F2. He will also be seen playing the lead role in Drushyam 2.

On the other hand, Sekhar Kammula’ Love story is scheduled to release on 16th April 2021.

It is known news that Shriya Saran is playing a crucial role in upcoming much hyped movie RRR, which is progressing at the brisk pace under the direction of SS Rajamouli. She will  make her screen presence in the role of Ajay Devn’ wife.  She has also shot for her role prior to lockdown. Now the sources close to SS Rajamouli revealed that the director has chopped few portion of the film RRR that features Shriya Saran.

According to the makers of RRR, Shriya Saran subplot adds to the already lengthy runtime and that is the reason they decided to cut this portion from the script. Earlier during an interview, Shriya Saran had said, “I have an emotional role in the film RRR that comes during the flashback episodes. I will be shooting with B town actor  Ajay Devgn for the role in RRR.”

RRR which is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya will be her reunion with Rajamouli after a long gap of 15 years. She had previously worked with Rajamouli  2005 Telugu action drama Chatrapathi, which starred Baahubali and Mirchi fame  Prabhas in the lead.

Rajamouli wants to deliver a blockbuster movie in the form of RRR, which  also has Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Olivia Morris and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles and it is slated to hit the theaters on 13th October.

The film maker Vignesh Shivan shared a photograph of himself with his girl friend and the lady superstar of South Indian film industry- Nayanthara in which she is flaunting a ring. Fans took to the comments section to ask if  Nayan and Vignesh are engaged. Nayanthara’s left hand showed off a ring to her finger.  The actress  has her hands over Vignesh Shivan’s chest as they both share a cosy moment. Wedding bells are surely ringing for Vignesh and Nayanthara.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan  reportedly fell in love while working together on the latter’s directorial debut ‘Naanum Rowdydhaan’, which was released in  the year 2015 and was a big success.

Their joint appearance at an awards show in  the  year of 2016 and their pictures together from their USA trip was much talked about. While Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy fame actress  Nayanthara is on neither of the social media platforms, Vignesh is seen gushing over her . For the past couple of years, the love birds are maintaining a live in relationship. Now according to the latest buzz, their wedding is on the cards.

Telugu remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum starring  Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati are progressing at the brisk pace under the direction of Saagar K Chandra.  Though it is a remake of Malayalam drama Ayyappanum Koshiyum, but the makers are making few changes in the script as per the taste of Telugu audiences.

Now according to the latest buzz, Pawan Kalyan will have a small flashback in Sagaar K Chandra’ directorial venture Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Though the flashback episode was not in the original version but this time the makers added it to enhance the character of Pawan Kalyan in this film.

Aishwarya Rajesh has been roped in this film, and she will be seen playing the love interest of   Rana Daggubati in Saagar K Chandra’ magnum opus. The makers have also approached Nithya Menen and she will be seen sharing the screen space with Pawan in this big budget drama, which is produced by Naga Vamsi. It was recently rumored that Middle Class Abbayi fame Sai Pallavi will play Pawan Kalyan’s wife in the movie. S Thaman is composing the music, Navin Nooli is the editor and Prasad Murella is handling the cinematography.

On the otherside, Pawan Kalyan will be next seen playing the lead role in Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor’ production venture Vakeel Saab.

The court room drama Vakeel Saab starring Power Star Pawan Kalyan is helmed by Venu Sriram.   Currently the team of Vakeel Saab including the music director Thaman and Venu Sriram are busy in the promotional activities of the film, which is a remake of Hindi National award winning film Pink.

Director Sriram Venu was an assistant director on a popular cola brand’s TV commercial nearly 2 decades ago, is  now thrilled to have directed Pawan Kaluan in Vakeel Saab. In a latest interview, the director revealed what makes Pawan Kalyan a superstar is his ability to come down to the required level and communicate.

Vakeel Saab helmer said, “Perhaps the fact that Power Star has seen it all makes him understand what exactly I need as a director and work accordingly. I shot with Badri fame Pawan Kalyan for around 42 days, but on the last day of the shoot when he expressed his happiness over shooting for the film Vakeel Saab, appreciated my work and he also gave me a hug, I was literally in tears.”

Vakeel Saab is jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor, also features Anjali, Nivetha Thomas, Ananya Nagalla and Shruti Haasan. Pawan Kalyan starrer is slated for release on 9th April.

Top actor to play basketball in Naga Vamsi film

Sports like tennis, cricket, and football, are an essential part of healthy living.  Generally, cinema, which is a reflection of human life, takes themes which are associated with daily human life and presents them on the screen.

Telugu film industry made a foray into sports dramas in 1990s and includes an element of sports in movies.  Naga Vamsi who is known for the emotional sports drama Jersey starring Natural Star Nani and Shraddha Srinath, is all set to come up with another sport based movie, based on basketball.

We have already reported that Nani and Shraddha Srinath starrer Jersey won the National award for the best regional film and the best editing. The movie was based on cricket in which Nani was seen playing the role of a middle age cricketer, which was bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments.

Now the reports are coming that Naga Vamsi has decided to produce another sport drama based on basketball, which will be helmed by Krishna and his Leela fame Ravikanth Perepu. The script work has already started and   the makers are planning to rope a top actor to play the basketball. Now we have to wait and see that who will play the lead role in this film. More details about the  cast and crew members will be out very soon.
