After Naga Babu, now Chiranjeevi insults Balakrishna

Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently busy in his upcoming dream project NTR biopic, which is being directed by National Award winning director Krish. Recently the makers of NTR biopic organized the audio launch event which was attended by number of celebrities like Mohan Babu, Superstar Krishna etc. But Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi was not spotted there. It is known news that Chiranjeevi is popular for attending audio launch, pre release events of the movies.  Though the families of Nandamuri, Superstar Krishna and Krishnamraju made their presence at the trailer launch event of NTR biopic but none of the actor from Mega family was spotted there. Is Chiranjeevi insulted Nandamuri Balakrishna? It is heard that though Balakrishna personally called Megastar Chiranjeevi but he said no to him. Because he is busy in the shoot of upcoming big budget movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.

 Chiranjeevi, who was not in city Hyderabad, could not attend the audio and trailer launch event of NTR biopic.

It is known news that few days ago, Naga Babu, the brother of Megastar Chiranjeevi has also made sensational comments on Balayya Babu. In an interview to a channel, Naga Babu remarked that he doesn’t know who Balayya is. This comment irked Balakrishna’s fans, and they took to social media to troll the actor. Later Naga Babu issued a video statement, in which he took another jibe at Balakrishna. In the video, Naga Babu said, “I am so sorry that I had made such comments about Balayya garu. I realised my mistake. Who doesn’t know Balayya? He was a very good comedian and always makes everyone laugh with his comic timing.”

On the work side, after wrapping up the shoot of Ram Charan’s production venture Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Chiranjeevi will join the sets of Koratala Siva’s upcoming directorial venture.  The makers are planning to rope Nayantara to play the female lead role.

Hyderabad Princess in Rajamouli RRR

If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed Aditi Rao Hydari will be seen playing female lead in upcoming big budget multistarrer RRR, which is being helmed by Baahubali film maker SS Rajamouli.   It is known news that the regular shoot of RRR was started from 19th November and recently the makers have also wrapped up the first schedule. The next schedule will be started from the month of January 2019. The sources say that Ram Charan will be seen playing a powerful cop whereas Young Tiger Jr NTR will be seen playing a dreaded muslim dacoit in a story set in the backdrop of British rule in the 1900. Till date, Rajamouli did not reveal that who are going to play the female leads in RRR. Earlier it was heard that the makers of RRR are considering the names of Kiara Advani, Keerthy Suresh and Eesha Rebba to play leading ladies but the sources say that they have approached Aditi Rao Hydari.

Hyderabad born beauty Aditi Rao Hydari belongs to two royal lineages that of Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari and J. Rameshwar Rao of erstwhile Raja of Wanaparthy family. Earlier in an interview, Aditi Rao Hydari, who is a princess in her own right, has said, “I was born here. My grandparents’ house near the Birla Planetarium was the best place to play hide and seek.”

 If everything will go accordingly, Aditi Rao will be seen in Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR. It has also come out that Mega Prince Varun Tej has recommended the name of Aditi Rao Hydari to Rajamouli for RRR. Let’s wait for an official announcement regarding the inclusion of Aditi Rao in RRR.

 Recently Varun Tej and Aditi Rao were seen in space based drama   Antariksham 9000 KMPH, directed by Sankalp Reddy of Ghazi fame and produced  under the banner of Dharma Productions  and Sradvn productions.

Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi starrer romantic entertainer Padi Padi Leche Manasu received mixed response. Although the film has done decent business in urban areas on day one, it is pretty weak in rural areas. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, PPLM collected a share of Rs 1.96 cr on day one in AP and Telangana. Here is break up list:

Antariksham 1st Day Collections

Varun Tej, Lavanya Tripathi and Aditi Rao Hydari starrer Antariksham released yesterday amidst huge competition at box office. The film directed by Sankalp Reddy has collected a share of Rs 1.40 cr on its opening day in AP and TS, which is below par considering Varun Tej’s current form with two back to back hits. 

Antariksham had done a strong pre release business of 21 cr worldwide. So, the film needs to pick up in order to become safe venture for buyers. Here is break-up list:

KGF Off To Earth Shattering Collections

KGF directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Kannada Rock star Yash released yesterday to overwhelming response. The film was released in nearly 2500 screens across the country and it is off to earth-shattering collections.

KGF collected Rs 18.1 cr on day one in all the languages and Hindi version alone minted Rs 2.10 cr. The film is exceptional in Telugu states as well. In Nizam, KGF raked Rs 19 lakhs share. As per trade reports, due to heavy demand, theaters have been increased in many centers on day two.

KGF is doing remarkable business in not just single screens, but also in multiplexes as well. Theaters screening KGF witnessed housefull board in many areas. In fact, positive word of mouth and enthusiastic reviews are helping the film to rake big numbers.

This movie is the first part in an action duology. The setting is of the 1970s and 1980s. KGF also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Achyuth Kumar and Anant Nag.
