Samantha prays for Naga Chaitanya?

Post wedding, Samantha Akkineni and Nag Chaitanya joined their hands first time for romantic and emotional drama Majili, which has turned out decent hit at the box office. Recently in an interview, Samantha talked about Majili and revealed, “Majili’s success was very important for Naga Chaitanya. On the release day of Majili, I woke up at 2:30 am and prayed to God for at least one and a half hours for the success of Majili, which is directed by Shiva Nirvana.”

Samantha added that, “I broke down after hearing the first report emerged online and I cried for half an hour. “ Majili bankrolled by Sahu Garapati, Harish Peddi, Sushil Choudhary under the banner of Shine Screens Production Rad film production, which also has Divyansha Kaushik, in the second female lead role, has completed its run at the box office and emerged as hit.

It is known news that Naga Chaitanya who delivered back to back commercially flop movies like Savyasachi and Shailaja Reddy, pinned lot of hopes on Majili. So the success of Majili was very important for him. Currently he is working with Venkatesh Daggubati for an upcoming project Venky Mama. On the other side, Samantha starrrer next film Oh Baby is planning to see a release in July and the actress will also start shooting for her portions in the Telugu remake of the Tamil blockbuster 96, soon.

Kajal Stunts With 200 Kgs Ice Cubes

Cute beauty Kajal Agarwal stole the hearts of all as Princess Mitravinda romancing Ram Charan in Magadheera. She went on to romance top stars of Tollywood and is now starring in a female oriented film Sita under the direction of Teja. The film stars Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, Mannara Chopra in important roles with Payal Rajput sizzling in a special song.

On the eve of Sita release on May 24th, Kajal speaking to scribes made shocking revelations about the film. She said she enacted daring stunts and in doing so she even injured herself.

Speaking about her role she said, Sita depicts the genex girl's lives and aspirations and also selfish personified. She added that the role has all the scope to win an award. She said she observed many people and also read many books to get into the role.

Kajal then made sensational revelations saying, “I was required to do some risky stunts for Sita. I acted with 200 kgs Ice Cubes on me and even enacted real stunts. I strained myself physically and in the process even suffered injuries. I ensured that a doctor was available in the sets."

Nani challenges Nagarjuna?

Natural Star Nani is currently basking in the glory of his recent offering Jersey. He is also working with Vikram K Kumar’s upcoming directorial venture Gang Leader. On Friday, the makers have locked 30th August as its release date. It means, Nani is challenging Akkineni Nagarjuna. It is known news that Nagarjuna is also busy in the shoot of upcoming project Manmadhudu 2, in which Rakul Preet Singh is playing the lead role. Nagarjuna is also planning to release Manmadhudu 2, on the occasion of his birthday which falls on 29th August.

As Gang Leader is arriving on 30th August and Manmadhudu 2 on 29th August, both the movies will compete each other at the box office. Though Nagarjuna has not made official announcement regarding the release of Manmadhudu 2 till date. Now we have to wait and see whether the makers of Manmadhudu 2 will change the release plan or not.

Recently during the media interaction, Nani opened up about Gang Leader and said “Its a family entertainer. We are attempting something no one’s ever attempted before.” Currently the shoot is going on the outskirts of the city.

Earlier Nani and Nagarjuna have worked together for Devadas, directed by Sriram Adittya, but the movie was ended up commercially flop at the box office.

Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi is having a glorious run at the box office. Now the actor is getting ready to start the work of his next upcoming project. Mahesh Babu is popular for delivering message oriented movie. His recently released movie Maharshi is based on the struggling life of farmers. It is known news that Mahesh Babu has collaborated with Anil Ravipudi for an upcoming project, which is expected to go on the floor very soon. The talk is that upcoming film of Mahesh Babu and Anil Ravipudi will have a faction element and the title will be like ‘Reddy Gari Abbayi’.

The sources say that Mahesh Babu and Anil Ravipudi’ Reddy Gari Abbayi will have Rayalaseema slang with a dose of satire and comedy. It has also come out that the movie will have Aagadu theme. Though Aagadu was helmed by Srinu Vaitla, but the comedy parts were written by Anil Ravipudi only. Now once again, Anil Ravipudi is coming up with a new age comedy entertainer for Mahesh Babu which will have Rayalaseema slang.

However, sources close to the makers confirmed that Reddy Gari Abbayi is just a working title for Mahesh Babu satrrer and the real title will be revealed later on.
