Rana Daggubati is talk for Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake?

We have already reported that Sithara Entertainments acquired the remake rights of Malayalam blockbuster film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Currently the hunt of the actors and director for the remake is on. Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that makers are planning to rope Nandamuri Balakrishna and Young Tiger Jr NTR to play the lead roles in Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake. Soon, there are talks that Manchu Vishnu has been approached for the remake of the mass drama. But now the reports are coming that the makers of Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake are in the talk with Rana Daggubati. If everything will go accordingly and Rana Daggubati gives his green signal, he will be seen reprising the role of Pruthviraj in this remake.

The sources say that the director and the other lead actor (Biju Menon’s role) will be finalized very soon after the coronavirus issues come to an end. S Naga Vamsi will produce this remake.

On the otherside, currently Rana Daggubati is working with Sai Pallavi for upcoming film Virtala Parvam, which is bankrolled by Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri. Sai Pallavi is playing the role of a Naxalite and she also underwent some vigorous training for the film. Apart from Virata Parvam, Rana Daggubati will also be seen in Aranya/Haathi Mere Saathi.

Thalapathy Vijay cameo in Rajamouli RRR?

SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture RRR is one of the most prestigious project of South Indian film Industry which has Young Tiger Jr NTR and Mega Power Star Ram Charan in the lead roles. Recently on the occasion of Telugu New year, the makers of RRR released the motion poster and revealed the title Roudram Ranam Rudhiram. The shoot of Roudram Ranam Rudhiram has been stopped due to coronavirus outbreak. It is known news that Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is playing a cameo in this high budget patriotic entertainer RRR. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, the makers of RRR are planning to bring Kollywood star Thalapathy Vijay in this film to play a cameo.

The sources close to Rajamouli revealed that he has approached Tamil hero Thalapathy Vijay and if everything will go accordingly, he will be seen in a special cameo in RRR. Let’s wait for an official announcement regarding the inclusion of Vijay in RRR.

On the otherside, Vijay will be next seen in upcoming film Master, which also features Malavika Mohanan, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Andrea Jeremiah and Arjun Das in important roles. The film is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and it has the music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film Master was slated to hit the theatres on 9th April but now the release has been postponed.

Viral: 21-day lockdown meme features Madhavan

It is known news that India’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced 21-day lockdown amid coronavirus outbreak. The people are not allowed to come out of their houses. Now many netizens are opting to take the help of memes to change the mood of others. Few netizens are taking the help of actors, movie dialogues and much other viral stuff to make memes on lockdown and how the people will be spending their time over this period at their home. One of the memes featured Tamil star R Madhavan. The meme has Madhavan from the 2000s as Day 1 of the lockdown. While by the time it’s day 21, he has transformed his look from his upcoming project Rocketry: The Nambi Effect where he is essaying the titular role of Nambi Narayanan.

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, is all about Nambi Narayanan, the former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation, who was later the accused of being a spy too. Apart from acting, Madhavan is also helming this film. The film has Simran as female lead role, which will be released in English, Tamil and Hindi languages.

Apart from Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Madhavan is also the part of thriller drama Nishabdham in which Anushka Shetty is playing the lead role. Apart from them, Nishabdham also has Anjali, Michael Madsen, Shalini Pandey, Subbaraju and Srinivas Avasarala in crucial roles.

Contributions pouring in from our celebrities

Tollywood stars are always there to help out first hand when any natural calamity or an epidemic hits the Telugu States. Now with the current lock down period due to corona virus out break, people from Telugu States are facing lots of problems. While government is going their best, one needs to act individually to get out of this as soon as possible.

Tollywood industry is coming forward to help with their donations. From top stars to directors everyone are coming forward with their contributions. Probably Nithiin is first in the list who came out with contribution. He has donated 10 lakhs each to AP and TS governments.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan has contributed 2 Cr from his side. While 1 Cr is for PM relief fund, 50 lakhs each is for two Telugu states relief funds.

Ram Charan followed Pawan Kalyan and has announced 70 lakhs total to the three relief funds.

Trivikram Srinivas has donated 10 lakhs each to both the Telugu States governments.

Koratala Shiva, VV Vinayak, Anil Ravipudi has contributed 5 lakhs each AP, TS relief funds. (VV Vinayak gave his donation to cine workers).

Actor Raja Sekhar is distributing groceries to poor artists and technicians in the industry.

Dil Raju too announced 10 lakhs each to both AP and TS relief funds.

Has Anil Ravipudi received a call from Balayya?

Not everyone knows this but Anil Ravipudi is an ardent fan of Nandamuri Balakrishna. He revealed this in a latest talk show. It was his dream to direct Nandamuri Balakrishna. But Anil Ravipudi did try to work with Balayya once. Titled Rama Rao Garu, Anil Ravipudi narrated a socio drama to Balakrishna. However the latter wasn’t convinced with the script and it never happened. Then after Anil Ravipudi became busy with F2 and Sarileru Neekevvaru.

Now the successful director is busy with finishing the script work of F3, sequel to F2. The film shooting might start in August and might have a release for late Sankranthi. More clarity regarding this will be out only after Summer. Keeping this aside now the latest information is that Anil Ravipudi received a call from Balakrishna regarding a script.

Balayya’s team has reached the director and asked if any script is there so that Balayya is interested to act. Anil Ravipudi promised to come up with a stunning one in a couple of months. So Anil Ravipudi might get a chance to direct Balakrishna again. Will he impress this time? Anil Ravipudi is known for comedy entertainers. So it will be really refreshing to see Balayya in his direction.

Can RRR make to the release as planned?

SS Rajamouli’s latest film RRR motion poster has been received to exceptional response from all quarters. In every language the reception for the motion poster is over whelming. The film has given something to cheer up for the audience who are already low amid corona virus scare. Everyone is locked down at home and spirits touching low. RRR motion poster is definitely something to cheer up at.

With the motion poster, makers of RRR has once again cleared the air that the film is releasing on January 8th, 2021 as announced recently. As shootings of every film has been halted to corona virus out break, RRR has to miss the call sheets of numerous actors even from foreign. As the dates of busiest actors in Bollywood Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn are hard to get again, everyone thought that RRR could even move to Summer 2021.

But with the motion poster, Rajamouli has made it clear that there are no intentions of postponement. But are Rajamouli and Co ready for it is to be seen. As per the latest update almost 80 percent of the shoot is completed. Remaining portion needs minimum 2 months of shoot. So Rajamouli is confident that even shooting resumes from June, he can make it for January release.

Perfect costume change for Jr NTR and Ram Charan

SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, in lead roles with Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, is one of the most awaited movie of South Indian film Industry. The film RRR also has Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson, Allison Doody and Samuthirakani in the crucial roles. Being bankrolled on an estimated budget of Rs 450 crore the film RRR narrates a fictitious tale based on the life of Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Yesterday on the occasion of Ugadi, the film RRR’ motion poster and title logo was released online. The one-minute video shows Mega Power Ram Charan and young Tiger Jr NTR as earth’ elements, fire and water who unite to create the title of this film.

The motion poster of RRR has become the talk of town and number of celebrities such as Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV are showering praises on it. Rajamouli has taken special care regarding the costumes of lead actors- Ram Charan and Jr NTR.

In his previous offering Rangasthalam, Ram Charan was seen wearing shirt and lungi and now, he looks good into western wear in Rajamouli’ RRR. Jr NTR who made his screen presence in stylish star in Nannaku Prematho and Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava slipped into traditional dhothi and top style for this upcoming big budget drama RRR. This is a perfect costume change for Ram Charan and Jr NTR.
