Sukumar sticks to the initial plan for Pushpa

Creative director Sukumar after the super successful Rangasthalam has struggled to finalize his next. His project with Mahesh Babu didn’t work out. He then teamed up with Allu Arjun for the movie Pushpa which has been based on the red sandalwood smuggling in the Chittoor district area.

Based on the backdrop, Kerala forests have been chosen as the area best for the shootings. Then the lockdown happened and the plans were wasted. Sukumar and the team have thought about choosing alternative locations. They have considered Vikarabad forests and the forest area in Rampachodavaram, East Godavari district.

However, it is said that Sukumar and Bunny have come to the conclusion that Kerala forests are the best suitable locations for the shoot. Scouting of the locations has already been completed and as per the latest update, the shoot will start very soon.

Rashmika Mandanna has been finalized as the heroine in the movie.

Chiranjeevi Vs Balayya: a possibility again?

Senior stars Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna were good friends for decades. However, a small gap came between the two as recently Balayya fired on Chiru’s camp for not inviting him to the meetings held by the industry when they decided to meet the Two Telugu States Chief Ministers.

Since then, the competition between Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi is a hot topic. Chiranjeevi is currently doing the film Acharya while Balakrishna has teamed up with Boyapat Srinu for his next. Both the movies are looking to resume the shoots very soon.

Before lockdown, these two films seemed to be clashing at the box office for Dussehra. However, with the lockdown, the clash was averted. Looks like the Dussehra competition has shifted to Summer clash as both the movies are eyeing April release. Balakrishna’s film will release on April 30, which was Simha’s release date.

Chiranjeevi has recently confirmed that Acharya will have an April release. So there are possibilities that the clash might happen.

Sandeep Reddy later directed the Arjun Reddy in Hindi as Kabir Singh and the film is a super hit in Bollywood too. On the back of two blockbusters, everyone expected that Sandeep Reddy will be flooded with offers.

However, more than a year later, the director is still struggling to finalize his next. Sandeep Reddy has tried a lot of combinations. He has narrated scripts to Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, etc., However, with a lot of reasons the combination never got materialized.

From the past few days, there are reports that Surender Reddy will make a film with newcomers. But that’s not the case. As per the latest speculations, Sandeep Reddy is back in Charan’s camp and reworking on the script.

Mega Star Chiranjeevi in June has tried to resume the shoot of his next Acharya. However, as the cases are in the rise, he has taken the back step. Now, Koratala Siva and the team are planning to resume the shoot very soon.

Chiranjeevi is said to be joining the team post-Dussehra. Chiru has asked Koratala Siva and the team to shoot the trial portion as hundreds of crew will be working on the sets. After testing for COVID to all the team members then the film will go on the sets.

On the other hand, Chiranjeevi has agreed to play the Vedalam remake in the direction of Meher Ramesh. He has recently done the bald test look for this project. Chiranjeevi has told the director to only give the movie’s announcement when only the film Acharya goes on the floor.

Vedalam will be the immediate project after Acharya.

It is known news that Mega Power Star Ram Charan will be seen playing the cameo in upcoming social message oriented movie Acharya in which Megastar Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal are playing the lead roles.  The reports are coming that Ram Charan will grace the screen for around 30 minutes and will essay the role of a former Naxalite who loses his life while working on a mission.

Sye Raa star Chiranjeevi’ character is inspired by his dream and decides to carry forward his mission. Apart from this, duo will also appear in a song that will apparently be the highlight of the movie Acharya which is being helmed by Koratala Siva of Mirchi and Bharat Ane Nenu fame.  The sources close to the Acharya makers revealed that a mow look test will be conducted soon to lock the look of  Ram Charan in Acharya.

Megastar Chiranjeevi is planning to join the sets of Acharya from the month of October. Currently the director  Koratala Siva is working on the schedules. Ram Charan is a powerful naxalite role in the movie  Acharya which comes during the flashback episodes. The makers  of Acharya are now gearing up to conduct a look test for Ram Charan.

Rangasthalam fame  Ram Charan too is working on the look and he is expected to join the sets of Acharya in October.  Koratala Siva is bringing Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady opposite Ram Charan in Acharya.

KGF director has two options before him

KGF director Prashant Neel has created a sensation with the film KGF Chapter 1. The film is a gigantic hit in all the released languages. Prashant Neel’s talent has got enough recognition. Tollywood is the first to cash in on the director’s popularity.

Two production houses Mythri Movie Makers and UV Creations have given advances to Prashant Neel and locked him for his next projects.

Prashant Neel is currently directing the movie KGF Chapter 2. The shoot has been resumed recently and might be completed by the year-end. Mythri Movie Makers want Prashant Neel to direct NTR for them. Initial discussions are already over and NTR is excited to work with Prashant Neel.

Milind Rau is a sensational director from Kollywood. He has last made supernatural horror thriller Aval, dubbed into Telugu as Gruham which was a sensational hit. He has managed to give the audience many scares with the movie.

It was recently updated that Milind Rau has managed to convince Rana Daggubati for a supernatural action adventurous flick. The film was expected to hit the floors early next year.

Now, according to the latest update, before moving onto Rana Daggubati’s movie, he will be working with Rana’s uncle Venkatesh. Milind Rau has recently met Venkatesh and narrated a line that was so unique. Venky hasn’t attempted such a flick in his career before. So, the senior actor is excited to be teaming up with Milind Rau.
