The sources close to the film unit of Kannada movie say that the talk has been initiated. If everything will go accordingly, Nandamuri Balakrishna will be seen playing pivotal role in Shiva Rajkumar starrer.
Incidentally, the film is Shiva Rajkumar’s 125th project and the filmmakers are keen on roping in Balayya. It may be noted that earlier Shiva Rajkumar was seen shaking a leg with Nandamuri Balakrishna in his 100th film Gauthami Putra Satakarni a couple of years ago, which was helmed by National award winning director Krish. Now it is the turn of Balayya Babu to make his screen presence in Shiva Rajkumar starrer Bhairathi Ranagal.
Bhairathi Ranagal is directed by Mufti director Narthan. It will be the maiden production venture of the director under his banner Shri Muthu Cine Services.
The character of Bairathi Ranagal in Mufti was one of Shivarajkumar’s best roles. In the movie, he is always seen wearing the black shirt and a panche, and this has given him an image makeover.
On the otherside, Shiva Rajkumar is busy in his upcoming movie Kavacha and Rustum. In Rustum the actor will be playing a cop in direct contrast to his role as the gang leader Bhairathi Ranagal. Kavacha, helmed by GVR Vasu, is a remake of the Malayalam movie Oppam which had Mohanlal in the lead role.
It is known news that Nandamuri Balakrishna was last seen in recently released movie NTR Kathanayakudu, which is also directed by Krish. Balakrishna is playing the role of his father and legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Though the movie received loot applause by the movie lovers on its opening day but the collection rate is below par.
On the work-side, Balakrishna will be next seen in NTR Mahanayakudu.
