Rakshasudu Teaser: Hold Your Breath

Teaser of Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas and Anupama Parameshwaran starrer Rakshasudu, a psychological thriller which is remake of Tamil hit Ratchasan, is out. The 50 seconds video that has nail-biting sequences lures you with its intriguing theme.

Rakshasudu teaser shows series of murders in the city committed by a psycho. Briefing about the murderer, Surya says, “This man is suffering from anti-social personality disorder… Simple ga cheppali ane vaadu psycho… Vadiki noppante ento theliyadu… Rakshasudu…”

The shots in the teaser show Anupama's character, a school girl and others under threat and Bellamkonda is the cop who takes it upon himself to track down the Rakshasudu who is not shown in the video.

The tagline ‘Hold Your Breath’ is apt for the film, as the teaser promises Rakshasudu is going to be an edge on seat thriller with spine-chilling sequences. Ghibran’s background score brings apprehension.

Directed by Ramesh Varma under Abhishek Pictures Banner, Rakshasudu will hit the screens on 18th of July.

Kiara Advani who made her debut in Tollywood with Mahesh Babu starrer Bharat Ane Nenu had an oops moment when she was posing for photographers and this incident took place in Mumbai’ Junu.

Kiara Advani was spotted a stunning blue button-down shirt dress. The actress suffered an oops moment while posing for paparazzi. While Kiara was cautious enough to avoid any instances of wardrobe malfunction, sudden blow of wind caused an embarrassing moment for her.

Kiara Advani reacted on time and saved herself from embarrassment. She handled her dress immediately and covered it with her hand.

Meanwhile, Kiara Advani has different projects in her kitty. Currently she is waiting for the release of her upcoming Hindi movie Kabir Singh, the remake of Telugu movie Arjun Reddy, in which Shahid Kapoor is playing the lead role. The movie will hit the theaters on 21st June.

Kiara Advani is also shooting for another Karan Johar film, Good News opposite Diljit Dosanjh, with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles. Besides these projects, Kiara Advani has recently signed an upcoming women-centric film Indoo Ki Jawani.

In Tollywood Kiara Advani was last seen in Boyapati Srinu’ Vinaya Vidheya Rama in which Ram Charan played the lead role and the movie was ended up disaster at the box office.

Nani to collaborate with Srikanth Addala

Natural Star Nani is going to collaborate with Srikanth Addala for an upcoming project. Srikanth Addala is a talented director. If everything will go accordingly, Nani and Srikanth Addala movie may start later this year and will hit the screens for Sankranti next year. Rajamouli in talks with Sai Pallavi

Young Tiger Jr NTR and Ram Charan are the part of SS Rajamouli’ next magnum opus, a period drama RRR set in the 1920s. Apart from them, Bollywood stars- Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn are also the part of RRR. Alia Bhatt will play the role of Sita and she will romance with Ram Charan whereas Ajay Devgn will make his screen presence in flashback episode. Currently Ram Charan is enjoying in Africa with his wife Upasana and the team of Rajamouli is in the hunt of another female lead for Jr NTR. It is being heard that Rajamouli is eyeing on Sai Pallavi and he is planning to bring her on the board to play the love interest of Jr NTR in RRR.

Currently the makers are canning some action sequences in which Ram Charan is participating. Though he is yet to recover from the wrist injury. British actress Daisy Edgar Jones has already walked out from the project and till date the makers did not make any official announcement regarding the female lead.

The sources say that the team of RRR and Rajamouli are in the talks with Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi and asked her whether she can allot the bulk date for RRR or not. If Sai Pallavi says yes, this will be the first time, when she will share the screen space with Jr NTR and will work with Rajamouli.

On the occasion of legendary NTR’s birth anniversary, 71-year-old legendary personality Raghavendra Rao made official announcement regarding his next upcoming project. In his tweet, K Raghavendra Rao revealed that the film will be made with three directors and three top heroines. It is heard that Now we have to wait and see that who will be these three directors and heroines. The film will be divided into three segments and National Award winning director Krish is said to have been signed on to direct one of the segments. The sources say that K Raghavendra Rao making an anthology film in the lines of ‘Lust Stories’. Now according to the latest update, the makers have roped Naga Shaurya in their Lust Stories and he will be seen sharing the screen space with all the three hotties.

Now, it has come out that the makers of this experimental film have zeroed in on young hero Naga Shaurya as the male lead. Apparently, Naga Shaurya will be the seen as the hero in all the three segments. However, the official announcement regarding the inclusion of Naga Shaurya is awaited. Baahubali producers Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are said to be bankrolling this upcoming project.

Shankar not interested in Prabhas

Recently it was heard that Shankar is planning to enter in Telugu film Industry and he has decided to make a big budget movie for Young Rebel Star Prabhas. But now the sources close to Shankar has refuted the rumor by saying that Shankar is not shifting his focus to the Telugu industry and he is not showing any interest to direct any movie for Prabhas. After the success of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0, he moved on to his next project Indian 2 with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan.

It means, Shankar is not planning to do any other film as of now, apart from Indian 2. Apparently, Shakar has been busy convincing the producers to start the shoot of his next upcoming project Indian 2 in which Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal will play the lead roles.

For the last couple of months, Indian 2 has been put on hold due to creative differences between Shankar and Lyca Productions. But now Lyca Productions has come up with a budget agreement, which Shankar had to sign. The agreement says that director Shankar has to complete Indian 2 within the proposed budget.

After hearing that Shankar is not going to team up with Prabhas, the actor’s fans are very upset. Meanwhile Prabahs is busy in Saaho, which has Shraddha Kapoor in female lead. It is directed by Sujeeth and bankrolled by UV Creations.

Nagarjuna to compete with Prabhas?

On the occasion of Sankranthi 2020, number of Telugu movies will hit the theaters. Already, much-awaited movies like Prabhas starrer romantic entertainer, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, Mahesh Babu starrer 26th film, Allu Arjun’s AA19, Balakrishna & KS Ravikumar film, Rajinikanth & AR Murugadoss film and Kamal-Shankar’s Bharatheeyudu 2 are scheduled to hit the theaters on the occasion of Sankranthi 2020 and now one more name has been added in this list and he is none other than Akkineni Nagarjuna. It is known news that Naga has made announcement about his next upcoming movie Bangarraju and now according to the latest update, this movie will hit the theaters on the eve of Sankranthi. Finally Nagarjuna has also joined the Sankranthi race and is getting ready to compete with Prabhas.

Bangarraju is a spin off of Nagarjuna’ Bangarraju character in his 2016 blockbuster, Soggade Chinni Nayana. The regular shoot of the film will be commenced from the month of July. Mallesham Trailer Review: Inspiring

Comedy actor Priyadashi is making his debut as lead actor with Mallesham which is not another regular commercial cinema. It is the real life story of a Padma Shri awardee named Mallesham. The film’s trailer released just a while ago tells the fall and rise of a young guy Mallesham who invented Asu Machine that reduces the time taken to weave a Pochampally Ikat sari from about six hours to an hour and a half.

Initial episodes of Mallesham trailer show the protagonist’s love for Telugu films. It also has a beautiful love story between the lead pair, followed by Mallesham’s struggles to make Asu Machine.

Mallesham is all about how a Pochampally weaver’s son Mallesham, 6th grade dropout to an engineer, who invented a machine to make life easier for his mother and won a Padma Shri in the process. Dialogues are thought-provoking and background score is captivating.

All in all, Mallesham trailer is intriguing and inspiring. Director Raj R might have done great research, before taking up this project. Seems like, this is going to amaze Telugu audience to the core. The film is slated for release on June 21st.

Sujeeth to bring Pritam for Saaho

If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, Bollywood music composer Pritam will score the music of young Rebel star Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho. On Monday, Composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy announced that they had opted out of Prabhas starrer Saaho as they were uncomfortable with the idea of having more composers working on the same film.

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy confirmed their exit via a tweet: “We wish to inform all our fans that Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have opted out of composing the music for Saaho. Here’s wishing #Prabhas #Sujeetsign #Vamsi #Pramod #Shyam all the luck for the film.”

Shankar Mahadevan said, “The music company wanted to add a few songs from external composers. We are not very comfortable with that. Normally, we prefer to remain the sole composers of Saaho. That’s why we decided to opt out.”

Now it is being heard that Sujeeth, the director of Saaho is interested to rope Pritam to score the music of Saaho, which is progressing at the brisk pace and is on the verge of completion. If Pritam gives his green signal to the makers of Saaho, he needs to compose the songs and the background score for Prabhas starrer in just a span of two months.

Saaho is being bankrolled by UV Creations and the movie is slated to hit the theaters on 15th August 2019.

As promised, makers of Sharwanand’s 27th film have announced release date with a first look poster where the young hero is seen in old man getup smoking a cigar. They announced Ranarangam as title of the film which will hit the screens on August 2nd.

Sharwanand grew hair and beard to play this most prevailing role in his career. As per reports, he plays a don in the film which shows him in different shades. Sharwa indeed rocked the salt and pepper look in the poster.

Directed by Sudheer Varma, Ranarangam stars Kajal Agarwal and Kalyani Priyadarshan in female leads. Ranarangam shoot has already been wrapped up and the film is presently in post-production stage.

Sharwanand who is going through tough phase is hoping to bounce back with Ranarangam and Sudheer Varma too is wishing to score his second hit. The director after making debut with Swamy Ra Ra delivered two flops in form of Dochay and Keshava.

Oh Baby Teaser: 70s Lakshmi To 20s Sam

Samantha’s latest flick Oh Baby teaser is out. The teaser promises that, the film is going to be a fun ride for movie buffs. Of Baby, as we reported earlier, is official remake of South Korean film Miss Granny. Nandini Reddy is directing Oh Baby that stars Naga Shaurya in male lead.

Oh Baby teaser starts with introduction of a 70 years old woman Lakshmi who tells that she used to look beautiful in her younger days. Then, Samantha is introduced in style as a singer. Here the twist is the old woman Lakshmi magically finds herself in the body of a 20 year old self Samantha, after an incident which wasn’t shown in the teaser.

Samantha like earlier steals the show in a distinctive role in Oh Baby as well. Naga Shaurya and Samantha’s conversation is the best part in the teaser. Micky J Meyer’s background score compliments the humor part.

“Naatho Enjoyment Mamulugaa Undadu… Okkokkadiki… Chustharugaa…” is the last dialogue in the teaser uttered by Samantha which again indicates that Oh Baby is going to be a hilarious entertainer.

Saaho: Sujeeth Clarifies On Salman Cameo

From past few days, there have been reports that, Bollywood super star Salman Khan will be playing a cameo in Tollywood star Prabha’s upcoming entertainer Saaho. However, the film’s director Sujeeth clarified on this saying, Salman Khan is not at all part of the project.

“Salman Khan is not doing any cameo in our film. In fact, shoot of Saaho is coming to an end. I don’t know how these rumors surface, when shoot is almost completed. There’s no truth in them. Don’t believe in these rumors,” he clarified.

Saaho already has several Bollywood actors such as Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Evelyn Sharma, Mahesh Manjrekar, Chunky Pandey, Jackie Schroff etc. The film will have simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

Saaho, as we all know, will be hitting the screens on August 15th as Independence Day treat.

Happening hero Vijay Devarakonda’s younger brother Anand Devarakonda and senior hero Rajasekhar and Jeevitha’s younger daughter Shivatmika are making debut with an upcoming project titled Dorasani. The film’s pre-look has been unveiled today and they announced to release first look poster on 30th of this month.

The pre-look poster of Dorasani shows a love letter written by Raju aka Anand Devarakonda to Dorasani aka Shivatmika. Dorasani is said to be a period romantic drama and will follow the life of a rich man's daughter who falls in love with her servant. It is said that this movie's story has been inspired by true lives. As per reports, the teaser of Dorasani to be unveiled soon will have a lip-lock sequence between the lead pair.

Dorasani is directed by debutante KVR Mahendra and produced jointly by Yash Rangineni and Madhura Sridhar.

Director Celebrating CBNs Defeat

Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma’s Lakshmi's NTR, his version of NTR Biopic, is finally set to hit the screens in Andhra Pradesh on May 31st. The director has now announced to hold a press meet at NTR Circle in Pipula Road Vijayawada on 26th of this month. He candidly welcomes NTR true fans to attend the event.

Apparently, RGV is having his last laugh in his fight with Andhra Pradesh Ex Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu over the release of Lakshmi’s NTR in the state. The film’s release was postponed several times earlier as TDP opposed its release claiming it would affect the voters. The film’s press meet at the same venue was also cancelled and was forced to return to Hyderabad by the police.

It’s been 12 years since Kajal Agarwal made her debut in Tollywood with director Teja’s Lakshmi Kalyanam released in 2007. She went on to become one of the most popular female actors in Telugu and Tamil cinema. Ten years later, the director-actor duo teamed up again for her 50th film Nene Raju Nene Mantri (2017). Their third collaboration Sita is releasing today. Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas is the male lead. Mannara Chopra and Sonu Sood will be seen in key roles.

In Ramayana, Sita refers to a submissive woman who stands by her husband in all situations. In this film, Sita is a woman of today- ambitious and unafraid to live her life on her terms. Work is a priority for her and after a point; she feels the need to strike a balance.

Yesterday, through his instagram account, young rebel star Prabhas proclaimed to announce something big regarding Saaho today. As promised, Prabhas has come up with a brand new poster to announce release date of the most awaited flick Saaho.

Chiranjeevi not ready to make any change

Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy in his upcoming movie Sye Raa Naraishma Reddy, which is one of the most awaited movie of this year. It is known news that Chiranjeevi is playing the role of a freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Vijay Sethupathi is also the part of Chiranjeevi’s dream project Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The sources close to the film unit say that the character of Vijay Sethupathi is going to be highly powerful in Sye Raa. So writer and directior of Sye Raa seems to have planned to cut few scenes of Vijay Sethupathi’ character. But when they conveyed the same to Chiranjeevi, he fired on them. The sources say that Chiranjeevi is not ready to make any changes in the script of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.

According to Chiranjeevi, Vijay Sethupathi will be a main attraction for the Tamil audiences. That is the main reason, Chiru is not ready to make any changes. He has suggested the team not to make any changes to Vijay Sethupathi’ role. It means, Vijay Sethupathi’s character will be a major highlight in Sye Raa, which is being directed by Surender Reddy and is bankrolled by Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela productions.

Currently SS Rajamouli is in the hunt of an actress. It is known news that British actress, Daisy Edgar Jones has walked out of the prestigious film RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, and SS Rajamouli and his team started the hunt for the second leading lady to romance young tiger Jr NTR in this upcoming action thriller drama. Earlier it was heard that Rajamouli is planning to rope Shraddha Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez or Parineeti Chopra but the things did not work out. According to SS Rajamouli, only Briish actress can do justice for the assignment.

Few people also advised to SS Rajamouli to alter the script so that they could rope in an Indian actress for the character. But the director is not ready to any changes to the script now. His team is looking for other options and have shortlisted a few of them.

On the otherside, Bollywood actresses are also quoting massive pay cheques for the role and Rajamouli felt that instead of paying huge amount as remuneration to Bollywood beauties, it’s better to rope foreign beauty to play the female lead. Couples of names are zeroed in and the final call would be taken by SS Rajamouli. If SS Rajamouli will finalize any foreign diva, he will make official announcement soon.
