Raghava Lawrence to play Sound Engineer in Rangasthalam Tamil Remake?

According to the latest buzz in the film, Kollywood director, producer and actor Raghava Lawrence is going to play the lead role in Tamil film, which is a remake of Telugu blockbuster movie Rangasthalam. It is heard that Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of Rangasthalam has sold out the remake rights of the film for a whopping amount of Rs 1.5 crore and Raghava Lawrence has acquired it’s remake rights.

Rangasthalam is a village-based drama, which is helmed by Sukumar and is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. The film has Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni in the lead roles. Set against the hinterlands of Andhra Pradesh, the revenge-drama has an engaging screenplay, strong characterizations, foot-tapping songs, terrific performances from the entire star cast and rich production values.

In Rangasthalam, Ram Charan essayed the ‘sound engineer’ Chitti Babu and Samantha Akkineni made her screen presence as a village belle. This was the first time when Samantha shared the screen space with Ram Charan and the movie was blockbuster at the box office. Now Rangasthalam is going to Kollywood and it is heard that Raghava Lawrence will play the lead role in this remake.

Everyone is eager to know that who will helm this village-based drama. The sources say that Lingusamy is the frontrunner to direct Rangasthalam in Tamil and Raghava Lawrence might play the lead role. Both these filmmakers Lingusamy and Raghava Lawrence command a solid following among the masses.

Raghava Lawrence started his career as an actor in 1998, in a Telugu film. He adopted the name “Raghava” in 2001, and worked for many top actors and directors in Kollywood throughout his career.

Currently, Raghava Lawrence is busy in his upcoming directorial venture Laxmi Bomb, the remake of Kanchana in which Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani are playing the lead roles.

In the movie Virata Parvam, Sai Pallavi is playing a talented folk singer who joins the Naxals due to certain circumstances. The sources say that Sai Pallavi’s trainer is none other than an ex-Naxalite leader. From firing guns to throwing bombs, Sai Pallavi is getting trained in a range of combat skills to play the role of Naxalite.

The makers want to ensure that Sai Pallavi gets the body language right, especially in action scenes that show combing operations and run-ins with the police forces. That’s why the team roped an ex-Naxal leader to train Sai Pallavi.

Not only Sreemukhi, but Hema also made controversial comments on Baba Bhasker as she said, “Baba Bhasker is a fake person. I don’t encourage him at all. I hate the way Babu and Sreemukhi hurt others’ confidence. I’m not sure if Baba can win the Bigg Boss show.”

Venkatesh to utter Hyderabadi lingo

Tharun Bhascker is currently busy with his upcoming directorial venture in which Venkatesh Daggubati will play the lead role. Allu Arjun career defining suggestion to Sree Vishnu

Sree Vishnu is currently busy in the promotional activities of his upcoming project ‘Thippara Meesam’, which is slated to hit the theaters in the month of November. Recently Sree Vishnu attended an interview and talked about his professional life. Sree Vishnu also talked about how Allu Arjun’s suggestions changed his life.

Sree Vishnu revealed, “After watching ‘Prema Ishq Kadhal’ movie, Stylish Star Allu Arjun called me and appreciated the entire team. He said that he liked my performance in this film. Bunny spoke at length about how much he liked my performance.”

Sree Vishnu added, “Allu Arjun suggested me to focus on different kind of movies just like how Vijay Sethupathi and Sivakarthikeyan are doing in Tamil.” Sree Vishnu added, “Funny thing is, I didn’t even know who those actors- Vijay Sethupathi and Sivakarthikeyan were at that point of time.”

According to Sree Vishnu, Allu Arjun suggested him to never fall for commercial roles and advised him to follow the likes of Vijay Sethupahi and Sivakarthikeyan in choosing films and roles. Sree Vishnu kept this suggestion in mind and followed it.

Sree Vishnu added, “I know that I can neither dance like most heroes do nor do I look dashing on the screen. The only thing I can do is to choose a good script, even if it takes a long time to find one.”

Sree Vishnu is popular for a variety of roles in his movies. In Mental Madhilo, he was a confused man who isn’t sure which of the two girls he wants to marry and in his previous movie Brochevarevarura, he played a boy-next-door who helps his friend fight back against s*xual harassment. He added that Vivek Athreya wrote his character in Brochevarevarura based on how he behaves and talks off-screen.

Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha is a well-known face for South Indian audiences as she has shared the screen space with Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth in Lingaa. The actress has given a befitting reply to the trolls who have targeted her for her body type for years. Sonakshi Sinha has shared a video where she is seen reading out all the mean messages she gets on social media and why she doesn’t care about it. The video starts with the actress Sonakshi Sinha reading a few condescending comments like “cow on the catwalk, aunty ji” and “fatso” addressed to her.

Sonakshi Sinha said that she was trolled by the netizens on social media sites on several occasions because of her weight.” She added, “I have never felt the need to react.”

Lady Amitabh Bachchan Vijayashanthi was approached by several star directors for supporting roles in their films. However, the yesteryear actress whose main focus was politics until recently rejected all of them. Moreover, she wanted her role to be as significant as protagonist’s in her comeback film.

It seems she has got meaty role in her comeback film Sarileru Neekevvaru featuring super star Mahesh Babu and sandalwood seductress Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. The number of days she is working for the film says how crucial role she is playing in the film.

“So far I worked for 50 days and I have allotted 25 more days for remaining part of my work. So, the total working days are 75 days which specifies my character is on par with hero’s. Why would I do the film, if my role is not that important?” affirms Vijayashanthi.

Vijayashanthi is said to be playing the role of a college professor in the film and herook was released recently on the eve of Diwali. The film directed by Anil Ravipudi is scheduled for Sankranthi release.

Eesha Rebba to star in Telugu remake of Lust Stories

Lust Stories, a popular series on Netflix, is all set to be remade in Telugu. But now it is being heard that Eesha Rebba has been approached to play the lead role in one of the four segments of Lust stories, which will be helmed by Sankalp Reddy.

Budget problem for Rajamouli RRR

SS Rajamouli’ upcoming periodic entertainer RRR is one of the most awaited movie of South Indian Film Industry. During the first press meet, the producer DVV Danyya made official announcement that RRR starring Young Tiger Jr NTR and Mega Power Star Ram Charan will be made on the lavish budget of Rs 350-400 Cr. But now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, RRR maker are planning to complete the movie around Rs 250 Cr.

It is known news that the dubbed versions of South movies are also popular in North belt. But the trade analysts are saying that despite the craze, distributors are not getting the desired profits and results in other states. So the makers of RRR planning to finish the project under Rs 250 crores. Though the producer DVV Danyya is ready to spend the huge amount on the promotional material but the movie RRR will be made on the budget of around Rs 250 Cr.

Prabhas starrer action and thriller multilingual drama Saaho was hit in north belt but was commercially flop in other versions whereas Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is hit in Telugu states but it’s other versions are flop. Even in Overseas, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy failed to get the desired result. So Rajamouli has decided to finish RRR in Rs 250crs budget .

RRR is a fictitious tale on freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Jr NTR is essaying Komaram Bheem whereas Ram Charan will be seen as Alluri Seetharama Raju. While Alia Bhatt is playing the female lead and will be seen sharing the screen space with Mega power star Ram Charan. Koratala Siva three film deal with Ram Charan?

It is known the news that apart from being an actor, Ram Charan is also a producer. He turned producer with his father Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer action drama Khaidi No 150 and later he produced his father’s dream project Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which is still running successfully at the box office. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Ram Charan has given a terrific deal to Koratala Siva to make three back to back films with Konidela Productions.

Vijay Sethupathi is also playing a negative role in Chiranjeevi’s nephew Vaishnav Tej’s debut film, Uppena. Now he is all set to sign another Telugu movie in which Allu Arjun is playing the lead role and the movie is going to be helmed by Sukumar.

Meanwhile, Stylish Star Allu Arjun is also concentrating on Trivikram Srinivas directorial Venture, which is progressing at the brisk pace. Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead. Allu Arjun will wrap Trivikram Srinivas’s film before taking Sukumar’s film on to the shooting floors.

The sources close to the film unit revealed that the story of Sukumar’s film will revolve around the Sandalwood mafia. Apparently, the upcoming movie will be a romantic action with a typical Sukumar styled screenplay. Sukumar is planning to shoot the film in Seshachalam forests in Nellore and Chittoor districts, as the story is set there. The upcoming untitled film will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Maker.

It may be noted that Sukumar originally planned the same film with Superstar Mahesh Babu but now he is going to make a movie with Stylish Star Allu Arjun.

Tharun Bhascker is making his acting debut in Telugu Film Industry with an upcoming film Meeku Maathrame Cheptha, which is being bankrolled by none other than the young and talented actor Vijay Deverakonda. Currently, the entire team is busy in the promotional activities of Meeku Maathrame Cheptha, which is gearing up for grand release on 1st November. Recently during the media interaction, Tharun Bhascker opened up about his movie Meeku Maathrame Cheptha and revealed that the movie throws light on the significance of privacy in the era of social media and I was hanging on it when Vijay Deverakonda narrated the story of this film.”

Tharun Bhascker said, “Initially, I did not believe it when Vijay Deverakonda said to me that I was the hero of the film Meeku Maathrame Cheptha, but after a few script reading sessions, I got a hang of it.”

The director turned actor Tharun Bhascker added, “It is all about the story of a typically middle-class guy who has an anxiety disorder. I also had to shed a few kilos for Vijay Deverakonda’s production venture Meeku Maathrame Cheptha.”

Tharun Bhasckar praised Vijay Deverakonda by saying, “I was an introvert earlier. But after becoming a director and now an actor, I feel I have achieved something personally.”

The comedy entertainer Meeku Mathrame Cheptha has completed the censor formalities and received U/A certificate from the censor board with no cuts. Directed by Shammer Sultan, the film has come out well. Apart from Tharun Bhascker, the film also has Anasuya Bharadwaj, Abhinav Gomatam and Naveen George Thomas in supporting roles.

Recently the makers of Meeku Mathrame Cheptha released ‘Nuvve Hero’ promotional song which features Vijay Deverakonda. Global Cinemas is co-producing the film Meeku Maathrame Cheptha. The film has music by Sivakumar.

Tharun Bhascker who has helmed Pelli Choopulu is busy in the script work of his next upcoming flick in which Venkatesh Daggubati will play the lead role.

Tongue-tied over Balakrishna latest demand

According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s sudden remuneration hike is giving a shock to C Kalyan, who is the producer of upcoming action entertainer Ruler. Producer C Kalyan is in shock over Balakrishna’s sudden price hike. It is known the news that currently, Balakrishna is working with KS Ravikumar for an upcoming film Ruler, which is progressing at the brisk pace.

C Kalyan, who had earlier produced a film with Balakrishna, is producing this film Ruler too. However, the producer C Kalyan recently got a big jolt from Balakrishna over a sudden hike in his remuneration. The sources say that when the makers offered the role to Balakrishna, he demanded Rs 7 Cr as remuneration but suddently he demanded Rs 14 Cr. The producer C Kalyan has been left tongue-tied over Balakrishna’s latest demand.

The sources added that “Now, C Kalyan is cutting the remuneration of other technicians so that he can meet Balakrishna’s demand.

On the occasion of Diwali, the makers revealed the title of Balakrishna starer Ruler and also shared the poster that featured the police avatar of Nandamuri Balakrishna. The movie Ruler is scheduled to hit theatres on 20th December.

In the month of August, filmmakers wrapped up the Bangkok shoot of the project, which also stars Sonal Chauhan and Vedhika. Jayasudha, Sayaji Shinde, Raghu Babu, and Srinivas Reddy are playing crucial roles.

This is the third time, Sonal Chauhan is reuniting with the 59-year-old actor Balakrishna following their previous works, Legend and Dictator. Sonal made her Tollywood debut with the Rainbow in 2008. Her popular Telugu Films are Pandaga, Chesko, and Sher.

The story of Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Ruler is penned by Puruchuri Murali, Chirantan Bhatt and Ram Prasad are handling the cinematography. The movie will hit the theaters on 20th December Worldwide.

Rajamouli to shoot crazy scenes on Ram Charan and Jr NTR

After the blockbuster movie Baahubali: The Conclusion, SS Rajamouli is now focusing on his upcoming flick, RRR. The period film brings together two leading Telugu actors Young Tiger Jr NTR and Ram Charan for the first time. The shoot of the most awaited movie RRR has been started. Mega Power Star Ram Charan has joined the sets of SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture and currently, the shoot is going on at the brisk pace. Jr NTR is also taking part in this schedule. The sources close to the film unit revealed that the makers are going to shoot crazy scenes on both Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the specially erected set in Ramjo Film City.

The sources close to the film unit revealed that the film RRR is behind schedule and because of this, the shoot is on without any major breaks in Hyderabad.

Rajamouli’ RRR is a fictitious tale on two Telugu freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. While Alia Bhatt is playing the female lead and will be seen sharing the screen space with Ram Charan. Earlier the makers had roped Hollywood actress Emma Roberts as Jr NTR’s pair in the mega-budget flick but she walked out from the film. And till date, the makers of RRR did not make any official announcement regarding another female lead.

RRR marks Alia Bhatt’s debut in Telugu cinema. Ajay Devgn is also making his foray into the regional film industry with SS Rajamouli’ RRR starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan.

Earlier in a press meet in March, SS Rajamouli said that ‘RRR’ will be a fictional story set in 1920s pre-independent era and will be based on few years in the lives of two real heroes– Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. He is planning to release RRR on 30th July 2020 in a very grand manner in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam.
