Geetha Govindam starring the young actor Vijay Deverakonda and Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna, directed by Parasuram, was blockbuster at the box office. Now it is going to Bollywood. We have already reported that noted Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty, who is popularly known for his hilarious action entertainers, has acquired the Hindi remake rights of Geetha Govindam. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Ishaan Khattar, the brother of Shahid Kapoor is on the board to play the lead role.
Shahid Kapoor has played the lead role in Kabir Singh, the remake of Vijay Deverakonda starrer Arjun Reddy and now his brother Ishaan Khattar is going to act in Geetha Govindam remake.
This time the movie will not be helmed by Rohit Shetty. He will only produce the Hindi remake of Geetha Govindam starring Ishaan Khattar. He earlier directed Simmba starring Ranveer Singh, which was Telugu remake of Jr NTR and Kajal Aggarwal starrer Temper.
The sources revealed that currently Rohit Shetty is modifying the script of Vijay Deverakonda’ starrer Geetha Govindam according to the taste of Bollywood fans.
Ishaan Khattar made his debut in Bollywood with Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!, which was released in 2005.
