Tollywood macho star Gopichand needs a hit movie to revive his career in the Film Industry. According to the latest update, Gopichand is planning to team up with Teja for an upcoming project.
The sources say that Gopichand is said to be holding talks with Teja for an upcoming project. He has also canceled his upcoming project which is to be directed by a Tamil filmmaker Binu Subrahmanyam. This was the first collaboration between Gopichand and Binu Subramanyam.
Actor Gopichand, who hasn’t tasted success after his 2014 film Loukyam, is said to be contemplating to join hands with Teja immediately. After a series of failures, in the recent past, Gopichand needs to test his luck once again with Teja’s directorial venture.
The sources say that recently both the actor Gopichand and director Teja met and discussed the possibility of their upcoming project and if everything will go accordingly, the official announcement regarding their upcoming project will be made very soon.
Teja is known for his works in films such as Baazi, Ghulam, Sangharsh, Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain, Krodh, Krishna, Shastra, Rakshak, Money, Tere Mere Sapne, and Vishwavidhaata. He has also handled the cinematography for few movies such as Kshana Kshanam, Rangeela, Drohi, Antham, Gaayam, and Govinda Govinda. Teja’s previous offering was Sita starring Kajal Aggarwal and Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, which ended up commercially flop at the box office.
Gopichand was last seen in Chanakya, an action-oriented spy thriller. This film was directed by Thiru and bankrolled by Ramabrahmam Sunkara and presented by Kishore Garikipati, Ajay Sunkara, and Abhishek Agarwal under the banner AK Entertainments. Mehreen Pirzada played the female lead in this flick. Chanakya also marked the Telugu debut of Bollywood actress Zareen Khan. The technical crew of Chanakya included Vishal Chandrasekar for music, Vetri Palaniswamy for cinematography, and Stunt Silva for stunt choreography.
