Ashok Galla is the grandson of noted Telugu actor Krishna and the nephew of Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu. His father, Jay Galla, is an industrialist and also a Member of Parliament from Guntur in Andhra Pradesh State. Mahesh Babu’s nephew Ashok Galla is all set for his Telugu debut with an upcoming movie. It is known the news that Ashok Galla’s debut film had its official launch last year itself. However, the film was shelved after a few months. Noted producer Dil Raju was supposed to introduce Ashok Galla through his banner. Now according to the latest update, the movie of Ashok Galla is on the track with few key changes. The makers have roped iSmart Shankar and Mr. Majnu fame Nidhhi Agerwal to play the female lead in this upcoming film which has Ashok Galla in the lead role.
Apparently, Nidhhi Agerwal has been signed on to play the leading lady opposite Ashok in this upcoming drama, which will be directed by Devadas and Bhale Manchi Roju fame Sriram Adittya. Very soon the official announcement will be made regarding this upcoming project of Ashok Galla and Nidhhi Agerwal. Interestingly, Ashok Galla was paired opposite another iSmart girl Nabha Natesh in Dil Raju’s project that was launched last year with a pooja ceremony.
Ashok Galla, the son of Telugu Desam Party MP, Galla Jayadev, had earlier acted as a child artiste in Mahesh Babu’s movie Naani, which was released in 2004. The film was directed by S. J. Surya in which Amisha Patel played the female lead role.
Nidhhi Agerwal made her acting debut in the film Munna Michael in which she romanced with Tiger Shroff. In Tollywood, she made her debut with Savyasachi starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. And she was last seen in iSmart Shankar. Currently, Nidhhi Agerwal is busy in her upcoming Tamil movie Bhoomi.
