Gone are the days where directors used to direct 3 to 4 films per year. Now, every top director at maximum makes 1 film per year or 2 films for every 3 years. Directors like Rajamouli will take 2 years to complete 1 film and this changes when a director scores a flop. He tends to take more time now. Earlier, directors used to take stories from writers and direct it. But now, directors like Trivikram Srinivas, Anil Ravipudi, Koratala Shiva are writers themselves and it obviously takes more time than others. Coming to Koratala Shiva he is a super successful director and all his four films are blockbusters.
Be his Mirchi, Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage, Bharat Ane Nenu his movies have been extremely successful and have earned a niche for himself. Generally, Koratala Shiva is a director who works very slowly. His debut movie Mirchi got released in 2013 and these six years, as said earlier, he has worked for only four movies. Koratala Shiva’s last movie Bharat Ane Nenu got released in 2018 and for more than a year he has been sitting idle giving finishing touches to Chiranjeevi’s 152nd film.
Chiranjeevi’s Syeraa shooting delay has given Koratala Shiva a break. He got a chance to fine-tune Chiranjeevi’s script. After working more than a year on the script, Koratala Shiva is said to be extremely confident about it. Chiru is said to be working as an Endowments officer and this movie deals with the corruption and other illegal activities going in this department. Bollywood music director duo Ajay, Atul is approached for this flick. Trisha is being considered as one of the heroine and search is on for another one. Ram Charan along with Matinee entertainments is producing this flick. More details about it are awaited at this moment.
