It is known that Kamal Hassan is currently playing lead role in the movie Indian 2 in the direction of Shankar. It is long time back that Shankar and Kamal Hassan previously worked together and Indian 2 is being made on a large scale on Pan India level. On the other hand, Kamal Hassan is taking his political stint seriously. So he thought that Indian 2 will be his last film. However Indian 2 is stuck with many problems. Other than few days of shoot, nothing much proceeded further in more than 6 months of production. Now with lock down happening, Indian 2 is going to take more time. Post lock down period too, there is no clarity when this shoot will resume.
So Kamal Hassan is thinking to make a movie in the mean time. He is contemplating to team up with Gowtham Menon. The director and Kamal earlier worked together for Raghavan. Days before lock down Gowtham Menon pitched up the idea of a script. He is now developing into a full script.
According to the latest update Anushka Shetty is being considered as the female lead in this movie. Post Nishabdam Anushka hasn’t signed any other project.
