Sreemukhi started her career in entertainment industry with Television show Adhurs and she also hosted the popular singing program Super Singer 9. The anchor has also acted in few Telugu movies. Sreemukhi played the supporting actor in the 2012 film Julai, which was helmed by Trivikram Srinivas. The anchor made her debut as a lead actress in Prema Ishq Kaadhal. Sreemukhi who became a house hold name with the programme ‘Patas’ in a Television channel has made a name for her in Telugu Film Industry too.
She has acted in ‘Julayi’. After this film her father said that it should be your first and last movie and thus she didn’t try her luck in Telugu movies. The anchor turned actress Sreemukhi revealed, “I have worked with Trivikram for Julayi and he advised me to be selective in roles. After listening his words, i tried my bit to fetch opportunities in films. All I got was of extreme adult content that involved bed scenes and kissing, that is the main reason, I stopped to act in the movies. “
Sreemukhi was last seen in adult comedy film Babu Baga busy, directed by Naveen Medaram starring Srinivas Avasarala, Mishti, Tejaswi Madivada and Supriya Aysola, which was released in 2017.
