Maruthi Dasari is currently basking in the glory of his previous directorial venture Prati Roju Pandage in which Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej and Raashi Khanna played the lead roles and it was emerged as blockbuster at the box office.
Maruthi Dasari is looking for star heroes for his upcoming film as he did movies with medium level heroes like Sai Dharam Tej, Natural Star Nani, Sharwanand and others. Now the reports are coming that Maruthi has rejected an offer from Megastar Chiranjeevi.
Chiraneevi wants to establish the career of his son-in-law Kalyaan Dhev in the film industry. And he asked Maruthi to make a comedy film with Kalyaan Dhev, who made his debut in Tollywood with romantic film Vijetha, which was a dud at the box office. As Maruthi is trying to get into the top league, he declined Chiranjeevi’ offer. Now Chiranjeevi is looking for another director.
Maruthi Dasari is well-known for directing low budget movies like Ee Rojullo, Bus Stop. He also received the Best Debutant Director Award for Ee Rojullo at SIIMA Awards. Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Maurthi is planning to collaborate with Natural Star Nani for a movie. On the otherside, Chiranjeevi is working with Koratala Siva for Acharya.
