Richa Gangopadhyay, the former Miss India USA 2007 title winner is known actress down south for her roles in ‘Mayakkam Enna’ starring Kollywood star Dhanush and ‘Osthi’ starring Simbu. Richa Gangopadhyay has also shared the screen space with Baahubali star Prabhas in Mirchi. She also did a few movies in Telugu. In 2013, during the peak of her career, she decided to quit acting and continue her studies in the United States.
The actress joined Olin School of Business at Washington University to pursue a career in business management. Later she tied the knot with Joe Langella and is living happily. Richa Gangopadhyay and Joe Langella’ marriage took place with both Hindu and Christian traditions.
Recently Richa Gangopadhyay interacted with her fans on social media. When she was asked about Prabhas, to which Richa Gangopadhyay said , “Prabhas is very humble and he is really a He is one of the costars I like.”
At the age of 21, Richa Gangopadhyay became the winner of the Miss India Michigan pageant and followed it up with the Miss India USA in the year 2007. She made her debut with Sekhar Kammula’ directorial venture ‘Leader’ and later went on to feature in superhit movies like Prabhas starrer Mirchi, Nagavalli and Bhai.
