Balakrishna back to back movies

Nandamuri Balakrishna who is popular for acting in action entertainer, is currently working with Boyapati Srinu for a film. The shoot of this upcoming action drama has been halted due to coronavirus and lockdown. This upcoming much hyped film is carrying good buzz. Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu have worked together for Simha and Legend, both the movies were blockbuster at the box office. In this untitled film Balakrishna is playing dual role and he will be seen essaying the role of an aghora in one of his gate ups.

On the other hand, Anil Ravipudi is also planning to make a film with Nandamuri Balakrishna. The sources say that Nandamuri Balakrishna spared some time for Anil Ravipudi and listened to his story and felt that it has potential, nevertheless, he agreed to work with the young director Anil Ravipudi, but nothing is fixed yet.”

Anil Ravipudi started his career as an assistant director for his uncle PA Arun Prasad. Later he went on to become a dialogue writer for movies such as ‘Sankham’, ‘Kandireega’, ‘Masala’, ‘Agadu’ and ‘F2 : Fun ad Frustration’.

Anil Ravipudi hasn’t delivered even a single flop till date. If both Anil Ravipudi and Balakrishna collaborate for a film, it’s expected to be a sure shot blockbuster.

Allu Arjun rejected it, And Mahesh Babu accepted?

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu made official announcement regarding his 27th film Sarkaru Vaari Paata yesterday. Geetha Govindam fame Parasuram will be directing the film while 14 Reels Plus and Mythri Movie Makers are going to bankroll this big budget project along with GMB Entertainments.

Everyone is aware of that it took a lot of time for Parasuram to find a lead hero for this project even after the super success of his previous offering Geetha Govindam in which Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna played the lead roles. It is being heard that Mahesh Babu was not the first choice of Sarkaru Vaari Paata, initially Prasuram wanted to make this movie with Allu Arjun.

Inside reports suggest that Parasuram decided to make this film with Stylish Star Allu Arjun and narrated the subject to him but the director became fail to impress Allu Arjun and the actor rejected it. The same script was narrated to Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and he readily accepted to do the film. The movie lovers wonder what did Mahesh Babu see in this script which Allu Arjun couldn’t!

On the otherside, currently Allu Arjun is working with Sukumar for action thriller drama Pushpa, which has Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role.

Yesterday Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu interacted with his fans on Instagram. When Mahesh Babu was asked about teaming up with Puri Jagannadh, he replied saying that Puri Jagannadh is one of his favorite directors and that he is waiting for Puri to narrate a story to him. It is known news that in past, both Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannadh have worked together for Pokiri and Businessman. The couple of years ago, Puri Jagannadh had announced a film with Maharshi star which was titled Jana Gana Mana. However, the project did not materialize.

Puri Jagannadh’ previous offering, iSmart Shankar starring the young and happening actor Ram Pothineni, Nabha Natesh and Nidhhi Agerwal was superhit at the box office and currently he is working with Vijay Deverakonda of Arjun Reddy fame for an action drama Fighter which has Ananya Pandey in the female lead.

Boyapati tapping but Powerful Balakrishna is not Monarch

Recently it was heard that Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer movie which is being directed by Boyapati Srinu, has been reportedly titled Monarch. The makers are planning to reveal the film’s first look poster featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna on his 60th birthday, which falls on 10th June. But, the sources close to the movie unit have confirmed that ‘Monarch’ is not the title of Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’ film and it is not even under consideration.

The sources added that the makers are yet to finalize the title. Boyapati Srinu who is popular for making mass masala movies, will tap all possible opportunities to present Balayya Babu in a powerful way. Both are planning to score a hat-trick with this upcoming film. It is known news that Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu have worked together for two blockbuster movies- Simha and Legend in past.

As per the industry talk, Nandamuri Balakrisha will be seen in a dual role – a faction leader and as an Aghora.

The film of Balakrishna, which went on floors before the lockdown, has suspended its shooting due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Gowtham impresses Ram Charan with his capabilities but says ‘No’

Earlier there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Mega Power Star Ram Charan is impressed the cute love story narrated by director Gowtham Tinnanuri of Jersey fame and also gave his verbal consent to work with him after the release of SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture RRR, which is slated to hit the theaters on 8th January. But now it is being heard that Gowtham Tinnanuri has denied the report by saying that there’s no truth in it. Dil Raju quotes Rs 35 Cr for V?

V is a romantic action thriller movie, which is directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti and produced by noted producer Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The movie V has Natural Star Nani, Sudheer Babu, Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles. It is known news that in Bollywood, almost all the small movies have released on Amazon Prime recently. At the start of lock down, one news in Tollywood has attracted all. It is about the remake of Malayalam super hit film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Top production house Sitara Entertainments has bagged the remake rights of this Malayalam film. The production house has approached Nandamuri Balakrishna and Rana Daggubati for the roles of Biju Menon and Prithviraj’s. However reportedly Rana Daggubati has backed off the project as he cannot adjust the dates.

After Rana, makers have now approached Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. He is showing interest in the project. But now the problem is with Balayya. This Nandamuri star said that he needs to watch the movie with a proper set up to take up a decision on the remake. Balayya hasn’t watched the film yet and Sithara Entertainments is waiting for Balayya’s call.

If he says no, then they can approach another hero, but Balayya isn’t giving clarity on his decision. Makers are feeling that Balayya will be perfect fit for this role and are hoping he will say yes to the project. On the other hand, the production house is also searching for suitable director to take up this project.

Buzz is that Suriya and Karthi will do this remake in Tamil.

Is Acharya going on sets from this date?

It is known that Mega Star Chiranjeevi is playing lead role in the movie Acharya which is fast completing its shoot until lock down is announced. According to the director almost 40 percent of the shoot is completed. However due to lock down more than 70 days of shoot has been lost.

Recently along with Chiranjeevi few industry bigwigs took initiative and met Talasani Srinivas Yadav and CM KCR. They discussed about the possibilities of the shoot start date and how shootings are going to happen in the next coming few months as Corona virus is still prevailing and lock down isn’t the best option at this moment as economy has already dried up completely.

As per the inside information Acharya is going to be one of the films to start shoot first. It is said that Acharya shoot is going to resume from June 15th. According to this date Koratala Shiva and Co have already started to plan schedules.

First few weeks, shoot will happen with limited cast and crew. Only scenes which require limited people will be shot and romantic episodes will be canned which requires two persons to be close nor any action sequence where physical distancing is not possible.

We have already reported that Suryadevara Naga Vamsi acquired the Telugu remake rights for Malayalam movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Prithviraj and Biju Menon starrer Mala Ayyappanum Koshiyum, an intense drama about brothers driven by ego, is all set to be remade in Telugu. Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi is still waiting for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s approval. Balakrishna has been approached to play the role of Biju Menon’ but Lion star is yet to watch the movie. The producer is waiting for Balakrishna’s response, if not, Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is likely to reprise the role of Biju Menon and Baahubali star Rana Daagubati will essay the role of Prithviraj Sukumaran in the Telugu version of Ayyappanum Koshiyum.

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film, SSMB 27, directed by Parasuram, has been titled Sarkar Vaari Paata, which is going to be launched on the occasion of Superstar Krishna’ birthday with a formal pooja ceremony. The sources close to the makers revealed that Sarkar Vaari Paata is a catchy title that is under consideration and an official announcement is expected to be out on 31st May. It will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers and 14 Reels production in association with GMB Entertainment. The film Sarkar Vaari Paata is touted to be a family-romantic drama. The director Parasuram has already finalized Bharat Ane Nenu and Kabir Singh fame actress Kiara Advani as the heroine for Mahesh Babu. But Kiara is yet to sign on the dotted line.

PS Vinod will take the responsibility of cinematography. The music director of Mahesh Babu’s film has not been finalized yet. It is being heard that the makers are considering Thaman and Gopi Sundar.
