The young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda was last seen playing the lead role in romantic and comedy drama World Famous Lover, which turned out to be a commercial flop at the box office. During one of the promotional events of the film, the director Kranthi Madhva had revealed that Vijay Deverakonda was not the first choice for the film.
Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej was the director’s first choice as lead actor for the film World Famous Lover but as he rejected the offer, the role fell in the lap of Vijay Deverakonda.
The sources say that Sai Dharam Tej did not show interest due to which Kranthi Madhav later approached another young actor Sharwanand for the role. Sharwanand and the director Kranthi Madhav had earlier worked for the romantic movie Malli Malli Rani Roju. Since Sharwanand was busy in the shoot of Jaanu, he also rejected the movie and finally the makers roped in Vijay Deverakonda to play the lead role.
The movie World Famous Lover also stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Raashi Khanna, Catherine Tresa and Izabelle Leite in lead roles. Vijay Deverakonda starrer WFL is all about the love story of Seenayya, who experiences love in 4 different stages of his life.
