SS Rajamouli, who is busy with his magnum opus RRR starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young tiger Jr NTR in the lead roles, has recently confirmed his next project with none other than Mahesh Babu. In a recent interview to a channel, when asked what would come after RRR– Roudram Ranam Rudhiram, the Baahubali filmmaker replied that he would direct a film for producer KL Narayana and that Mahesh Babu would play the lead protagonist in it.
Till date, Mahesh Babu has not attempted the genres of historical or period movies. In past, Mahesh Babu has said, “I will not hesitate in acting historical movies if a director like SS Rajamouli handles. Otherwise, I am not sure of taking such type of movies.” Now the reports are coming that Rajamouli is planning to fix a historical story for Superstar Mahesh Babu.
Rajamouli is already holding discussions with his father and Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad to fix a historical story for Mahesh Babu movie. He will start to work on the final script after wrapping up the shoot of RRR.
Currently Mahesh Babu is spending his time with his family members. His next project will be with Parasuram, which will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
