Stylish Star Allu Arjun has shifted to top gear with the movie Ala Vaikunthapurramulo. The film had an exceptional run at the theatrical window. It has been received very well in the OTT platforms. Now, 8 months after the theatrical release the film had its TV premiers and it turns out to be fantastic. It has registered the highest TRP ratings ever for a Telugu movie with 29.4 TRP.
Allu Arjun will be next playing the role of a red sandalwood smuggler in the movie Pushpa. Sukumar is the director of the movie. The shooting hasn’t started yet and the makers are in plans to go for the shoot from October. The majority of the scenes need to be shot in the forest area.
The latest update regarding the project is Jagapathi Babu is in talks for a key role in the movie. He was seen in a villain role in Sukumar’s last movie Rangasthalam. However, this news needs official confirmation. Rashmika Mandanna will be playing the female lead.
