Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam fame Vijay Deverakonda is going through a tough phase in his career. His previous offering World Famous Lover, which hit the theatres on the occasion of Valentine day was ended up a dud at the box office. Currently Vijay Deverakonda is working for his upcoming action drama Fighter which has Ananya Pandey in the female lead role. The movie Fighter in which Vijay Deverakonda will be seen playing the role of a fighter, is being helmed by Puri Jaganandh of iSmart Shankar fame.
The sources close to Puri Jagannadh revealed that the director is planning to shoot the next schedule in a foreign country and he is planning to rope a Taiwanese boxer to essay the role of a boxing champion in Vijay Deverakonda starrer Fighter. Instead of bringing Taiwanese boxer to India, Puri plans to shoot in a country where the COVID19 situation is under control.
Apart from the lead pair- Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey, the film Fighter also has Ramya Krishna and Ronit Roy in crucial roles.
Vijay Deverakonda starrer Fighter is tipped to be a Telugu-Hindi bilingual, which will also be released in other languages during Summer 2021. The movie Fighter was initially scheduled for a November 2020 release but had to be pushed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
