Digital rights is the new source of income for the producers. These rights are fetching a bigger amount than the satellite rights. Popular OTT platforms are making striking deals with the production houses even before half of the film’s shooting is done.
Currently, Rebel Star Prabhas is playing the lead role in the movie Salaar. The movie’s shooting has kickstarted recently and is going on at a very brisk pace.
Only a schedule was completed so far but the latest news is that Amazon Prime Video has come up with an exciting offer to bag the digital rights of the movie. It is said that they have offered a huge price for all the languages’ digital rights. The production house Hombale Films is yet to make a decision on this.
