Kollywood star Dhanush’ last year released cult hit, Asuran is being remade in Telugu Film Industry. Venkatesh Daggubati is on the board to play the lead role in Asuran Telugu remake which is titled Narrappa. Srikanth Addala is helming this revenge drama. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Asuran is going to be remade in Kannada and it is being heard that Shiva Rajkumar will essay the lead role in its Kannada remake.
Vetri Maran, who helmed the original version of Asuran will be producing the film in Kannada. Let’s wait for the official announcement regarding Shiva Rajkumar’ Asuram remake.
Dhanush starrer Asuran was released the last year, and it was a successful movie. The movie directed by Vetrimaran is an action drama that deals with caste discrimination. Kalapuli S Thanu bankrolled this film, where Dhanush essayed a dual role. The movie Asuran is based on Tamil novel Vekkai. Asuran is the revenge story of a father, a farmer who avenges the murder of his son. Manju Warrier played Dhanush’ wife in this film.
Currently Shiva Rajkumar has multiple projects in his hand such as Bhajarangi 2, RDX and Bhairathi Ranagallu, which are in different production stages.
