Tamil star Suriya is going to star in a web series, which will be produced by renowned director Mani Ratnam. The web series, titled ‘Navarasa’, will have nine different stories. Surya will also be seen in one episode of the series Navarasa, which will be directed by nine different people. Aravind Swamy, Siddharth, and many others are expected to star in the series Navarasa.
Jayendra Panchapakesana, is expected to direct the episode starring Surya. Pre-production work on the web series is currently in progress. It is being heard that Maniratnam also wants to rope Natural Star Nani and Naga Chaitanya for his web series Navarasa but they are not giving green signals.
In the past, many big stars used to have a desire to work with Maniratnam. But now Telugu stars have lost interest in Maniratnam’ movies. Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu and Mega Power Star Ram Charan have already rejected roles in the Tamil director’s movies. And now Nani and Naga Chaitanya are also not showing interest in Mani Ratnam’ web series Navarasa.
Navarasa will have nine episodes with each correlating a navarasa of the nine navarasas. And each episode will be directed by a different director but it will be produced only by Mani Ratnam.
